-Happy Sunday! We are planning on having dinner out for Father’s Day tonight, but have really just been taking it this easy this weekend. I have been loving the warmer weather here and have been going on tons of walks.
-I finished up “The Summer Place” this weekend and I loved it. It was SO MUCH BETTER than Big Summer. I cannot remember reading “That Summer” which was her last book, so either I didn’t read it or it was incompletely unremarkable. This was a great one though. Easy to read and held my attention even if it was a tad bit unbelievable.
-Have you watched the new season of Ozark? Before I watched it I heard some people were disappointed in the ending so I wasn’t hopeful, but I thought it was perfect. No one is cooler than Marty Byrde. No one. That man is the definition of calm under pressure.
-My cousin shared the Jo Malone dupe candles she found at Aldi, so I went on a hunt this morning (I had to go to 4 Aldis) and found them. They are 88oz, come in two scents (No. 22 – Sweet Almond & Macaron and No. 23 – Hibiscus, Mandarin & Vanilla), have six wicks and are priced at $29.99. In comparison, the Jo Malone candles are 88oz, have 4-wicks (I believe) and are priced at $515. Such a great deal and the scents are amazing.
