Petit Vour
May Petit Vour

Petit Vour is a brand-new monthly delivery of cruelty-free beauty products, hand-picked from businesses that align quality with progressive standards. In your box, you’ll receive beauty & grooming samples from brands like AHAVA, Boscia, DuWop, Hourglass, LUSH, Pacifica & Tarte.

The Box

Petit Vour ships via USPS First Class Mail and took two days to get from Texas to my mailbox here in Michigan.  That makes me a happy girl.

I was very impressed by Petit Vour’s packaging, their custom boxes, everything.  They look like they have been doing this for ages!

The Information Card

May is the first every Petit Vour box and it’s all about rejuvenation.  Petit Vour choose items that refresh, invigorate and compliment their “sun-bound energy”. Here’s a look at what was inside their first ever box:

~moroccan argan oil + argan stem cell shampoo & conditioner($2.50/each, $5): First off, this smells amazing. I don’t know about you, but that’s a deciding factor for me when I am buying shampoo & conditioner. It also “provides lasting moisture to even the most dry and damaged hair leaving it soft, manageable and ready to rock”, which sounds pretty darn good to me. The shampoo / conditioner count in my shower just got increase by a set….

Acure 100% Organic Haircare Shampoo & Conditioner

~Misa Three-Free Nail Lacquer (Fatal Affair) ($7.50): This “three free” polish is free of dibutyl phthalate, formaldehyde and toluene. It seems like most big brand polishes are at least 3-free, but if you aren’t sure about your favorite, it’s for sure something to look into. I’ve never heard of the Misa brand before, but they have some great colors on their website and I am thrilled with the color I got!

~Go Raw 100% Organic Spirulina Energy Bar ($1.19): I’ve never tried anything from the Go Raw brand, but I am excited to give this a go.  I would never buy it, at say, Whole Foods, but I for sure want to try it.  I’ll wait till B is home though so he can try it too.  Sometimes I’m nice like that.

~Odacite 10 Day Skin Treatment($29): This is a gift certificate for a skin consultation via e-mail, a personalized skin routine, and 7 freshly made skin care products (cleanser, toner, day, eye, night cremes, exfoliant and masque).  Again this isn’t a brand I have never heard of, but I am excited to try all these products.  And the fact they they are including basically your entire regime for 7 days is amazing.  The products are prepared fresh for every customer, which allows them to provide a product that is 100% active without the need for any preservative or harsh chemicals. Cool huh?

~Tsi-La 100% Natural Organic Perfume ($1.24): I tested this perfume out expecting to hate it, but I don’t.  In fact, I kind of love it.  It’s very light and has “sparkling notes of orange blossoms, juicy tangerines and playful neroli flowers”. I don’t know if I would buy a full bottle of it, but I will for sure use this sample.

All totaled, the May Petit Vour box had a value of $43.93.  This is an amazing deal considering that the box itself is only $15/month (and even less if you get a 3- or 6 month subscription).  Petit Vour has come out and said that the inaugural box has a higher value than the normal boxes, but they did note that you can expect typical boxes to have a value of between $20 and $30.
