Bulu Box, who kindly sent me this box to review, is the first health, nutrition and weight loss discovery box designed to help you feel your best. Each month, you’ll get a custom box filled with a new mix of 4 to 5 premium samples from top brands to try. They offer both an original box and a Weight Loss box which includes products specially designed to help with the varying factors of weight loss. Much like Birchbox, they also offer a review program which allows you to earn up to 100 points a month which is equal to $10 to spend in their online shop!

First Look

This is my first Bulu Box in forever and it came at a great time, because, like the rest of America, I would like to get healthy in the New Year!

The Information Card

The December 2014 Bulu Box (Classic) contained the following items:

~Justin’s Classic Peanut Butter: Love this stuff!  I can never get enough packets of it.  It’s the perfect serving size and is easy to grab and go.  Plus, it’s not messy.  It you scoop out some peanut butter from a big jar into a little container to take with you, that little container is a pain to clean.

~SPORTea: I like the idea of sport tea, but the taste? Not so much.  I tried it thinking it would be more sport than tea, but it wasn’t.  B would probably like this better than I do.

~Brode Hydration Vitamin: These support proper hydration and help prevent hangovers, jet lag and more.  I have come down with a nasty cold and have been chugging water like it’s my job, so I am plenty hydrated right now.  But I’ll be take this on my next trip!

~Vital Proteins Collagen Peptides: You can mix this into water, juice or smoothies to help with the appearance of hair, nails and skin.  It can’t hurt (right?), so I will be testing it out starting next week.

~Simple Being Sleepy Beans: I can’t remember the name of the drink B used to like that helped you fall asleep, but these are the same idea.  I haven’t been sleeping great lately, so I will be snagging this.

~Zestra Essential Arousal Oils: I guess both Kris Jenner and Dr. Oz have mentioned this product.  It’s applied “topically” which scares me just a tad, so I am going to pass this along to a friend and make her report back!

I didn’t do a cost breakdown on this box, but at $10/month it’s a nice way to try an assortment of items.  What’s even better though is the amount of points you can earn every month to buy things from their Shop!  They have tons of stuff in there so you should have no trouble trying to figure out how to spend your points!

What do you think of Bulu Box?  If you are interested in subscribing or want to learn more, click here! Right now you can use the coupon code “THREEFORONE” to get 3 months (reg. $30) for the price of 1 ($10)! That makes each box $3.33 and you’ll earn at least $5 in shop credits every month so they are kind of paying you to subscribe!

I got the bulu box (two actually, one classic, one weight loss), when the sale first came out as an entry into health boxes. My one was almost the same except I didn’t get the hydrating pills. I have to say, I am not overly impressed with it. Both of my boxes contained Zestra which, just why? I think for 3.33, I got my money back, but I would be mad if I had spent $10 on it. I think my search will continue.
