February 2015 Bulu Box Subscription Review
February 2015 Bulu Box

Bulu Box, who kindly sent me this box to review, is the first health, nutrition and weight loss discovery box designed to help you feel your best. Each month, you’ll get a custom box filled with a new mix of 4 to 5 premium samples from top brands to try. They offer both an original box and a Weight Loss box which includes products specially designed to help with the varying factors of weight loss. Much like Birchbox, they also offer a review program which allows you to earn up to 100 points a month which is equal to $10 to spend in their online shop!

The Box

Bulu Box ships via USPS around the 15th of the month. If you placed your order before the 5th of the month you’ll receive that month’s box. Any orders placed after the 5th of the month will receive the following month’s box.

Second First Look

The first look made me a little hungry.  Looked like there was a lot of food in this one.

The Information Card

The February 2015 Bulu Box included the following items:

~Barlean’s Omega Swirl: This Omega-3 / Fish Oil supplement mixes with water and promises to taste like a smoothie.  I don’t know if I would call it a smoothie, but it was good.

Barlean’s Omega Swirl

~Sant Dried Superfruit Beverage: This is to be added to your water bottle to help promote digestion and to regulate sleep and mood. B actually decided to use this to infuse in vodka.  It’s happening right now, so I’ll try and remember to report back on this in a few days with the results.

Sant Dried Superfruit Beverage

~Mediterranean Snacks Basked Lentil Crackers: I think these have appeared in another box or two in the past and they are quite good.

Mediterranean Snacks Basked Lentil Crackers

~Calsura: Instead of calcium pills you can use these to dissolve in your water.  The taste wasn’t bad, but I think it’s just easier to swallow a pill.

Calsura

~VitaPerk Sticks: These sticks are to be added to your coffee for a boost of vitamins and minerals.  Now I could see adding this to your coffee in the morning.  As long as it doesn’t change the flavor of my Starbucks (and the original isn’t supposed to), I like it.

VitaPerk Sticks

~Balance Bare Bar: I was surprised at how much I liked this one! Usually I could take these types or bars or leave them, but this one was great.  I’d buy these again!
