Love With Food March 2015 Tasting Box Review
Love With Food March 2015 Tasting Box

Love With Food sends members a curated box filled unique gourmet food items. The “Tasting Box” is $12/month and offers with 8+ snacks and the “Deluxe” box is $19.95/month and includes 16-20 snacks. Love With Food also offers a Gluten-Free box for $29/month which includes 8-12 surprise gluten-free snacks each month. Each box brings new delights, with bites that vary based on seasonal themes. In addition, Love With Food donates a meal (some months is even two meals) to a child in need with each box purchased, which you can read more about here.  This review is on the March Tasting Box.  I also did a review on the Gluten-Free box which is here.

The Box

Love With Food ships via USPS and took just under a week this month. If you order by the 1st of the month your box will arrive that month. If you order after the 1st, it will arrive the following month. Orders placed today will begin with the April box which ships around the 10th of April.

First Look

I recognized a few items in here from the Gluten-Free box, but saw a few new items too.  Love With Food boxes are small, but they are packed full.  I am always amazed by how many items they can fit in their boxes.

The Information Card

The March 2015 Love With Food box was Healthy Grocery Finds and was curated by Megan Roosevelt, the Healthy Grocery Girl.  Here is what was included:

~Moringa Organic Tea by Miracle tea: I don’t think I will ever be a fan of tea, but luckily I know a lot of people who are and will enjoy this USDA Organic Tea.

Miracle Tree Morigna Organic Tea

~Choco Chews by TruJoy Sweets: I thought these had a bit of a coffee taste to them, but I read the ingredients and they don’t have any coffee ingredients in them, so who knows?  They were fabulous though.  Chewier than a toostie roll, but not quite as sweet.

~Annie’s Bunny Grahams Chocolate: We all love Annie’s bunnies!  They are a good snack for L and WB is always trying to grab a bag too.

~Hemp Hearts by Manitoba Harvest: These are good on salads, but I still can’t get into eating them right from the bag. Maybe one day.

~Roasted Chickpeas with Sea Salt by The Good Bean: Roasted chickpeas are totally something I like right from the bag.  They are also fantastic on salads if you want a crunch but don’t want croutons.

~Sea Salt Bops by Good Boy Organics: BOPS are another favorite around here. I don’t think I have ever tried any flavor but the sea salt, but I would like to.  They don’t leave your fingers as greasy as traditional chips, but you still get that crunch and saltiness!

~Almond Butter Cacao Truffle by Two Moms in the Raw: I tried the one from the Gluten-Free box and loved it so I let L try this one.  To say that he wasn’t a fan would be an understatement.  I thought it was amazing though.

~Nutty Rice Bites with Cranberry by 180 Snacks: These are kind of like a granola bar, except in smaller pieces.

~Lightly Salted Plantain Chips by Turbana: These weren’t on my information card, but I’ll take them!  They are really good and we all love them.

~Coupons: As usual this box also includes a bunch of coupons and offers for the items in the box.

I liked a lot of the snacks in this box, but it wasn’t one of my favorite boxes from them. There were actually two items on the information card that I didn’t receive and received the Turbana chips in their place.  I don’t mind the substitution, but I thought it was odd that they didn’t mention it anywhere.
