Everything was nicely packaged and could easily be gifted as is. I rarely mention it (although I should), but subscription boxes generally do not include a packing slip with the price of the box on it.  I will make it a point to begin to mention when a subscription does include this, but it’s very rare.

The Information Card

I received the “End of Year” Pampered Teacher box to review.  It included the following items to celebrate teacher’s well deserved summer months of relaxation:

~Mini Portable Notebook: This is a cute little notebook that you throw in your purse and always have handy to jot down ideas in.

~Crystal Glass Nail File: I think nail files are a must in every bag and this is a fancy one compared to the ones I use.

~Nail Polish: At first I was thinking blue nail polish?  But then I realized that it’s for summer and you can do all sorts of fun things in the summer.  I would have liked to see something a little higher end though.

~Infinity Toe Ring: Very simple, very also very cute.  It’s billed as a toe ring, but it’s sizable so you could wear it on your fingers also.

~Pencil Case: This could be used for holding pencils or reading glasses or maybe even as a makeup bag.

~Thank You Notes: Teachers have a lot of Thank You’s to write at the end of the year and I thought it was great that they included these in the box!  These are actually from the Dollar Spot at Target (I know this because I almost bought them myself) and I love them!

I couldn’t so a cost breakdown for Pampered Teacher since I didn’t have brands for a lot of the items. I’d probably have to see a few more of the boxes before I made a decision on the price of this one.

Looks fishy. Those nail polishes are almost always at Dollar Tree and I’m pretty sure I’ve seen those nail files there too. You said the cards are from Target’s $1 spot and the notebook looks dollar-store-y too. I wonder if it’s some random person just buying stuff at dollar stores and sending it out (like Red Carpet Box or GGG) for killer profit.

Also, have the people at CampBox contacted you to give you a review box?? That’s one sub I’m dying to see reviews about! But I’ve only found one, on their own website.

      I haven’t yet! I hope I do though!!!

it’s hard to come up with fun teacher gifts at the end of the year, these are great. super thoughtful – i’m going to check out other boxes from them.

Yeah, I’ve seen those Maybelline nail polishes at the Dollar Tree a lot. Also, that pencil case looks awfully similar to the ones from Daiso Japan, which is like a Japanese dollar store, but everything is $1.50 instead. Either way, this box is way too expensive for the stuff you get.

I taught for fifteen years, and I have to say, nothing in this box would make me feel pampered.

I’m a teacher and a pampering box to me would include a higher end chocolate or brownie, foot cream, bath bomb, diffuser, organizer/sticky notes, mini emergency kit for desk, and/or a candle. (No thank you to tea, coffee mugs, or pencils.)

I would love to see a teacher’s sub box with actual education goodies-workbooks, games, reward stickers, learning toys, and maybe a special extra for the teacher thrown in from time to time like a nice desk accessory. This box doesn’t really have anything to do with being a teacher, in my opinion.

I agree with all the previous comments. Several of these products are sold at Dollar Tree. Being a teacher myself, the only “teacher” item is the set of thank you cards. We can never have enough of them.

Fun things for summer! Since it’s for the end of the school year I wouldn’t expect to see a lot of classroom items in this box. I really love the foot rub recipe. It’s a nice touch!

I love the pampered teacher gift box idea! I think all of these items are perfect for an end of the school year gift for a teacher.

    Hello Subscription Box friends!
My name is Jason, and my wife and I purchased Pampered Teacher last year. I have read all of your comments, and honestly, they’re similar on all subscription box review sites – they are all for old boxes from the previous owner. We have put out 3 boxes since then, the Spring 2018 box will be our 4th.
My wife and I teach ourselves, and we have taken great care to put together better boxes. We include at least one (usually more) items from small businesses and artisan crafters, as well as things you might not normally buy for yourself.
I invite you to check us and our boxes out again! Teacher Appreciation Week is right around the corner!
    All our best,
    Jason
