BOXYCHARM April 2015 Subscription Box Review - "Bloom"
BOXYCHARM April 2015 Subscription Box – “Bloom”

BOXYCHARM is a beauty box subscription that surprises you each month with the best beauty products from popular and chic brands. It’s $21/month and includes full size and luxury size beauty samples from their team’s preferred well-known brands.

The Box

BOXYCHARM ships via DHL Global Mail (starts out as DHL and is delivered by USPS) mid-month.  I think they ship in batches because I know sometimes people receive their boxes and mine hasn’t even shipped yet or vice versa.

First Look

I mainly knew what to expect in this month, but I knew of at least one variation so there was an element of surprise as well!

The Information Card

The April 2015 BOXYCHARM theme is “Bloom” and contained the following:

~Coastal Scents Revealed 2 Palette (Retail Value $39.95 / On Sale For: $19.95): BOXYCHARM sent us the original Revealed Palette in the December 2014 box and now we received Revealed 2!  Just like the first one, this is fabulous.  Tons of colors (twenty to be exact) and it includes both mattes and shimmers.  I’d swatch it for you (I’ve had some requests for swatches), but seriously there’s something for everyone in here. I am certain you’ll find a color for you!

~OFRA’s Illuminating Blush Stripes ($35 value): Eeek!  There were two variations of OFRA products sent out this month and I am thrilled I received this one.  The other was a solid colored blush.  This is 4 blushes in 1!  All in colors that are awesome for me.  Totally thrilled with this one.

~Vincent Longo Eye Pencil (Satin / Plum) ($26): I had a dream about eyeliner the other night (so random) and I am thinking it may be a sign I should wear it more?  The “Satin” color went on super smooth and evenly, but I really had to work to get the “Plum” (I’d call that more of a light blue) to show up.  I guess that’s good though because you can make it as soft or dark as you want.

~Coolway Smoothing Lotion ($24.95): By the name of this I was expecting it to be a body lotion.  LOL.  No, it’s a hair lotion.  It smooths hair, hydrates, eliminates frizz, fights humidity, etc. It basically does everything you want a hair product to do in the summer.  I tested it and I really liked it.  Like a lot.  It does everything it promises and my hair doesn’t look like a crazy mess.

~Harvey Prince Mini Roller Fragrance (Signature) ($21): I love Harvey Prince. I don’t think I have found a scent from them that I don’t like. This one is a nice citrusy blend and I already have it in my purse.

All totaled I came up with a value of $126.90 for the April 2015 BOXYCHARM.  And once again they have put together an incredible box for just $21/month.  Amazing.  I really don’t know how they do it.  I’m impressed.
