Something Snacks April 2015 Subscription Box

Something Snacks, who kindly sent me this box to review, is a monthly snack subscription box. Each month you receive seven different awesome snacks including some familiar snacks and some with a bit of adventure.

The Box

Something Snacks ships via USPS. Boxes are shipped between the 7th and 11th of each month and it should take about 7-10 days to arrive to your home or office.

First Look

This box was packed full of snack and I was very impressed with the first look.

The Information Card

The April 2015 Something Snacks included the following:

~Shelia G’s Brownie Brittle Toffee Crunch ($1): I didn’t even know that Brownie Brittle was offered in Toffee Crunch!  I’ve been missing out because it’s amazing!  Easily my favorite snack of the bunch.

~Strawberry Daifuku Mochi (~$1): I am not totally sure of the brand on these so I had to estimate the price.  I am not even sure how to describe Mochi.  I don’t love it, but I don’t dislike it either.  I think the texture just gets me.

~Corso’s Seasonal Decorated Easter Shortbread Cookie ($5): WB saw this cookie when I opened the box and he talked about it every single day until I finally decided it was time for him to try it.  He loved it.  It was a little late for Easter, but he did not care.

~Fabz Fava Beans with Sea Salt ($1.50): These are quite tasty!  Not too salty, but enough to make them delicious.  They are non-GMO, gluten-free and certified vegan.  They make a great snack to keep in your desk.

~East Shore Cajun Pretzels ($1.25): I somehow missed that the flavor, not the brand, was cajun.  I was very surprised when I tried them.  LOL!  They are too hot for me, but considering I can only handle mild salsa, that’s to be expected.

~Gourmet Popcorn Creations Strawberry Cheesecake Glaze ($3.95): I have become a big popcorn fan lately and this is such a fun flavor.  Strawberry Cheesecake popcorn?  What’s not to like?

~Rusty’s Homemade Island Chips ($3): These were good, but they for sure left some salt on my fingers.  The crunch was great though and they were thicker than regular potato chips.

All totaled I came up with a value of nearly $17 for the April 2015 Something Snacks, which is impressive since the box is only $13 shipped. Snack boxes don’t generally have a big cost savings to them, but this one did and it really did have a little something for all tastes in it!
