Craftly is a new lifestyle subscription box that features 3-5 high quality products and handcrafted goods from independent artists, small businesses, and mid-to-large scale brands. Every month, subscribers receive a surprise box of samples, full-sized items, and exclusive offers curated by Cathy Diep and Adam Montoya.
Boxes are shipped on (or around) the 15th of the month via USPS Priority Mail.
I couldn’t remember too many of the details if the box when I opened up Craftly, but I liked what I saw. Starting things off looking at a candle is never a bad thing.
The June 2015 Craftly Box (which was their first ever box) contained the following items:
~Ms. Betty’s Bad Ass Candles Citrus & Chili Pepper Soy Candle ($18): This smells awesome and as much as I want to keep it for myself, I think it would be a fabulous gift with a friend who is “f’n awesome”. Just like me. LOL!
~Formulary 55 Sea Salt & Lavender Shea Butter Soap ($5): This smells beautiful and made me feel like I was at a spa. I looked at all of the scents they offer on their website and I honestly couldn’t find one I didn’t think smelled good.
~“Stuff We Like” Pocket Notebook ($10): This notebook was designed by one of the founders so it’s an exclusive (I think) to Craftly. The $10 value seems high, but that won’t stop me from using the notebook.
~Viveo Leather Goods Cognac Leather Keychain ($2.50): This is actually made in / shipped from the Ukraine. This is a perfect keychain for B. It’s simple, durable and still stylish.
~Hello Everyone Print ($10): This is a Craftly exclusive. I liked that they printed this on the reverse side of the information card so that there’s no waste. Very smart! The colors are bright and the pink totally pops on the yellow. Love it!
All totaled I came up with a value of $35.50 for the June 2015 Craftly box. I didn’t include shipping in my prices, but it was still well over the cost of the box. And I loved it. I cannot wait to give that candle to my friend and I am going to frame that print ASAP!
