SnackSack delivers better tasting, originality, and higher nutritional value, in the form of a subscription snack box, once a month. Boxes include a mixture of snacks that are organic or all-natural, non-GMO, vegan, fair-trade, or gluten-free.
SnackSack ships around the 15th of the month. If you sign up by the 1st of the month you will receive a box that month, otherwise your subscription will begin the following month.
SnackSack packages everything in a burlap sack. This month’s box was so packed full though that not everything fit – some items were loose in the box.
The July 2015 SnackSack included the following items:
~Pop Art Snacks Gourmet Popcorn: This is delicious! Subscription boxes have allowed me to discover all these new fun flavors of popcorn! I already want more of this. And in other flavors too.
~Food Should Taste Good Tortilla Chips: I know these are better for you than traditional tortilla chips, but I don’t enjoy them as much. I think they are a better chip for hummus than for salsa actually.
~Boulder Canyon Potato Chips: These are a B snack! He’s a fan of kettle chips more than I am.
~Honey Stinger Energy Gels: Another B item. I can’t get past the texture of gels! These are organic and gluten-free and if I did enjoy gels, are ones I would get.
~Snack Out Loud Power Puffs: Now these are good! They are a cross between fritos and cheetos. They have a kick to them though, so be warned!
~Sensible Portions Veggie Straws: Love these! I love Veggie Straws as it is, but when you add ranch into the mix, that makes them even better! L loves these too and always liked when I put them in his lunchbox.
~Made in Nature Fruit Fusion Mix: These are a blend of cranberries, raisins, cherries, pepitas, blueberries and goji berries. And L loved them! They were a big hit in his muffin tin meal the other night!
~Snapz Dried Apple Crisps: So good! They are dried apple crisps, but aren’t soft like some dried apples are. They are crispy and perfect.
~Homefree Chocolate Chip Cookies: I think I first discovered these in a Love With Food or a Citrus Lane Box. Something like that. They have been a favorite since. They are all-natural, but are the same time they actually taste like chocolate chip cookies. Delicious.
~pur Spearmint Gum Pack: I may be the only person on the planet that doesn’t like gum. It’s just not my thing. B isn’t here, but I am sure he will enjoy it when he gets back.
~Kameda Crisps Wasabi Peanut Mix: I thought the Power Puffs had a kick to them, but these had a BIG KICK! They are an excellent item when you need some something with a ton of flavor to snack on.
~Kutoa Blueberry Almond Bar: This bar is gluten & soy free, vegan, non-GMO and is made with chia & flax seed. It’s also pretty good! I am going to have to see what other flavors these come in.
I didn’t do a cost breakdown on this box, but I really enjoyed it. The boxes are packed full of snacks – some I had tried before and some I hadn’t. This would be a good one to have sent to your work do you wouldn’t be tempted to run to the vending machine as much.
