Wantable Intimates July 2015

Wantable Intimates sends you 3-4 (it was previously 4-5) premium essentials, hand-picked to perfectly match your preferences.  Items may include flirty panties, sporty tanks, essential camis, cozy socks, stylish tights, and comfy soft bras. They also offer makeup, fitness and accessories boxes, again customized to your preferences.  And unlike the majority of other subscription boxes, Wantable allows you to return the box if you aren’t totally 100% happy. They just switched things up a little and now allow you to return a portion of your box!  Wantable now lists “Your Price” on the information card along with the Retail Price so you can easily determine the amount of credit you will receive if you opt to return items.  If you end up keeping your entire box, a credit of $4 will be posted to your account – making your next box $36.

First Look

Last month’s Wantable wasn’t overly amazing for me, but I opened this one up and was hoping it was going to be fantastic.

Preferences

I mention it every time, but you can totally customize your Wantable box.  You fill out a questionnaire telling them what you Love, Like and Dislike.  You’ll get more of the things you Love, some of the things you Like and none of the things you Dislike.  It also asks about color preferences and that sort of thing. I have mentioned it before, but I am still excited about it so I am mentioning it again.  A few months back Wantable switched out their questionnaire and now separate out loungewear from lingerie. It drove me crazy that these were in the same category so this is a welcome change.

The Information Card

My July 2015 Wantable Intimates Collection included the following items:

~Rene Rofe Tuck Me In Tank (Retail Price: $21, Your Price: $12): I can’t find this currently on sale anywhere, but I did find a link showing that this top, along with the pj shorts I received, was on sale for $16.99 at Zulily. It’s a cute tank, but I would’t have paid $21 for it.  $12 seems much more doable.

~Rene Rofe Tuck Me In Shorts (Retail Price: $21, Your Price: $12): For whatever reason Wantable considers these sets as separate pieces.  I’d consider them to be a set, but they allow you to buy them separate, so I guess they are separates.  I doubt you can buy them separate at a store though.  Anyway, they are cute sleep shorts.  I like the pattern and they are perfect for the summer wear.  Again I wouldn’t pay $21 for these, but for $12 they are cute.

~Rene Rofe All Over Me Bra (Retail Price: $28, Your Price: $16): Very pretty, but I will likely end up passing it on to a friend of mine because it’s not really my style.  She ends up with a lot of subscription box stuff that isn’t really “me” and loves it.  I should probably move bras to Dislike because I like to pick those out on my own.

All totaled I came up with a value of $70 for my July 2015 Wantable box.  Once again I wasn’t wowed by this one.  It definitely needed another item to really round it out.  Even if it were just a pair of undies or a pair of socks.  It needed something else.  Also, I am not too excited that, of the six items I received in the past two months, five of those were the same brand (Rene Rofe).  I have nothing against that brand, but I would love  to see them mix it up a bit more!

Do you subscribe to Wantable?  If so, what’d you get in your box (makeup or accessories or intimates) this month? Have you tried either of the new Edits (Fitness or Style)? If you are interested in signing up for Wantable you can head here and check them out!

Wantables USE to be my favorite subscription box but not so much anymore. I didn’t like it when then went to 3-4 items vs 4-5 and especially dislike counting a PJ set at separate pieces when they clearly go together. I put my makeup, intimates and accessory subscriptions on hold or cancelled but am seriously rethinking cancelling all of them. Only reason I haven’t is because they truly were my favorite and their customer service is excellent but the value just isn’t there at this time. Sad.

I received the same pajama set. What you can’t see in the pics is just how soft and comfortable the set is. These are my new favorite pjs!

Wantable is total garbage. They buy old stuff way cheap, inflate the “value” and act like its good. Total junk. They sell leftovers. You can buy the same things at a discount store sooner than you can get it form wantabe
