For the Faithful is a monthly subscription box full of Christian products delivered right to your door. The Box

For the Faithful ships via FedEx Smart Post. Boxes generally ship around the 20th of the month and take about a week to arrive to me.

First Look

I liked the looks of this box better than last month’s.  It just looked to have more “stuff” in it.

The Information Card

The August 2015 For the Faithful box included the following items:

~Engraved Pen: B likes this pen and will probably end up taking it to work. It’s engraved with “Trust” around the middle and is has a nice weight to it.

Engraved Pen

~Earth Friendly Pens, Colorful Erasers, Pencil Case & Friendship Cards: If you don’t have a daughter I am guessing you’d up up gifting some of this. I will use the pens and the erasers and will probably let WB use the pencil case (he likes to store things).  The friendship cards I will do what the information card says – pass along to friends.  I have a girlfriend who loves getting the things I won’t use from this box so she will be happy.

~Notebook: How gorgeous is this notebook? It’s (obviously) supposed to look like a stained glass window with the window frames being a black cross. So pretty! This is another item I will pass along to my friend to enjoy.

~Instant Messages for Fabulous Friends: Again if you don’t have a daughter I am not overly sure what you’d do with these?  Although, I could see giving some to B for fun. But the language on them (GR8 for great) is for sure for the younger crowd.

I didn’t do a cost breakdown on this box, but I enjoyed it more than the July box. It had a better mixture of items, but I still felt like it leaned more towards elementary / tween girls for the most part.

The theme of the box seems suited for a 5th or 6th grade girl, with the expection of the pen and maybe the notebook. Cute items, though.

My notebook isn’t as pretty as yours…wish I had gotten that one. Mine is a plain cover with a Bible quotation. My pencil case is similar but the character is “Little Miss Grace.” That works out because my 2 year old is named Grace so I’ll hold onto it for her.

2nd month of a 3 month subscription and so far duds. This month was better than last month’s though. Both months have been geared towards younger girls than adults (which would be fine, but I’m 50 so that doesn’t really fit for what I subscribed for). Luckily I do have young children so I can use some of the items, but this sub was supposed to be for me (selfish I know!).

I don’t want to hit cancel on this one, but if next month isn’t more age appropriate I am going to have to say goodbye.
