First Look

I couldn’t believe the amount of items that they were packed into this box! I was quite impressed.

The Information

Our August 2015 Super Gains Pack didn’t include an information card, however, I wish it would have.  It had so many items I was worried I would miss one in my review (and may actually have)!  The August Super Gains “Super Gains” Pack included the following items:

~Super Gains Pack Shaker Cup: Every “Super Gains” and “Big Gains” packs contains a shaker cup. B is always in need of fresh shaker cups (they get gross, we lose them, etc.) so this was a very welcome item.

~Beast Aminolytes, Creature & 2 Shredded: B has just started working out in the mornings so this box couldn’t have arrived at a better time for him.  Sadly, he doesn’t provide too many details about how he likes items.  I will hear about it if he doesn’t enjoy them, but if he likes them I don’t hear much!  It’s safe to say he enjoyed these.

~bpi Sports ISO HD and Whey-HD: I know lots of people make protein mug cakes and that soft of thing with protein powders, but B just drinks them in shake form.  From what I gathered from him these were good.  I wish I could have tried the Chocolate cookie one.

~Xtend BCAAs: This is a Fruit Punch flavored drink that supports muscle growth, recovery and replenishes electrolytes.  The texture is similar to say Spark or Gatorade. It’s a single serving pouch and B declared it “good”.

~ETB Natural Eat The Bear (Vanilla): This is another item that I know people will get creative with, but B just mixes his with water. I would at least mix mine with milk!  He said it didn’t have any aftertaste and that it mixed up smoothly.

~Honey Stinger – Chocolate Waffle: Now this is all me. I love these.  You can eat them just out of the package or put on top of your cup of coffee in the morning to heat them up.  So good!

~Nubreed Nutrition Helix bcaa: Again I didn’t get too much information from B out of this (I swear I am going to ask him notes next time), but he didn’t mention any aftertaste so I would say it;s a good thing. It works by ” ultilizing instantized aminos for faster nutrient assimulation, superior bio-availability, maximizing protein synthesis and eliminating the possiblity of Catabolism”.  That all sounds very fancy to me and I think it basically means it helps you get bigger and stronger faster!

~MusclePharm Combat Crunch: Probably not B’s favorite bar, but I think he’d have it again. It has 20g of protein and is gluten-free.  We receive the White Chocolate Raspberry favor, but it comes in an assortment of other flavors as well.

~Samples: The box also included a TON of other samples including GU Energy Gel, an Acai High Protein Beef Bar, FinaFlex BCAA SAA Amino Acid and just a bunch of others. We received this box about two weeks ago or so and B has used up every single one of these!

I didn’t do a cost breakdown on this box, but it contained nineteen items (including the shaker cup).  For a $28 box, I think that is a great deal. I was very impressed by this box and so was B!
