GLOSSYBOX kindly sent me their November 2015 box to review early and I am so excited to share it! GLOSSYBOX is a monthly beauty subscription box and includes five luxury surprise beauty items shipped to your door. I have been a subscriber for years (in addition to getting review boxes I also pay for a subscription) and am always in awe at the value they pack into their boxes.
GLOSSYBOX ships via USPS and generally boxes ship in the second half of the month (as I mentioned I received this one early for review purposes). Sometimes it’s the last week of the month, sometimes it’s closer to the beginning of the month.
Unlike last month this was just a “regular” GLOSSYBOX. It didn’t have a special theme or box.
The box looked pretty good at first glance! I didn’t know what everything was, but I was excited to check it all out.
The November 2015 GLOSSYBOX contained the following items:
~Flora*py Floral Therapy Facial Sheet ($8): This mask is designed to ” awakens and revives tired skin, helps eliminate puffiness and promotes a deep cleansing of the pores”. You need to leave it on for about 20 minutes, but I really think it did help with puffiness. From the looks of the information card a variety of mask types will be sent out so you may get a combination other than Strength + Energy.
~Crabtree & Evelyn La Source Ultra-Moisturising Hand Therapy (25g / 0.9oz) ($9): I’m super excited about seeing this in here. It’s not a new discovery by any means, but it’s a fabulous hand cream for sure. It’s super thick and hydrating and ideal for the upcoming winter months.
~Estee Lauder Revitalizing Supreme Global Anti-Aging Creme (.17oz/5mL) ($8.50): Estee Lauder’s Revitalizing Supreme aims to reduce fine lines and wrinkles and combat dullness and dehydration. I haven’t used it long enough to see a difference, but my skin felt better instantly. It was smoother and hydrated, but not oily.
~Marsk Mineral Eye Shadow in You’re Toast (1.2g / .04oz) ($22.50): This color is amazing. I had some trouble getting it out of the package, but once I saw the color it was all worth it. It’s a shimmery bronze and is just incredible! The shadow went on smoothly I didn’t have any issues with creases or flaking either.
~Beauty for Real D-Fine Perfect Lip Pencil ($14): I am not overly excited by this one. That’s just because I am not a lip liner fan though. I am going to give it to a friend so I didn’t test it on my lips, but I found it to go on my hand smoothly.
All totaled I came up with a value of $62 for the November 2015 GLOSSYBOX. I loved some of the products in it, but I had to say, it wasn’t my favorite GLOSSYBOX. Still between the fabulous eye shadow and the hand cream, it was worth the cost. Everything else was just a bonus!
What do you think of this month’s GLOSSYBOX so far? Just a reminder, GLOSSYBOX has been sending out variations in boxes the last few months so don’t be surprised if your box is a little different than this one. I don’t know that it will be, but it might. If you want to snag this box, grab it soon because it’s probably going to sell out quite quickly.
