GLOSSYBOX kindly sent me their November 2015 box to review early and I am so excited to share it! GLOSSYBOX is a monthly beauty subscription box and includes five luxury surprise beauty items shipped to your door. I have been a subscriber for years (in addition to getting review boxes I also pay for a subscription) and am always in awe at the value they pack into their boxes.
GLOSSYBOX ships via USPS and generally boxes ship in the second half of the month (as I mentioned I received this one early for review purposes). Sometimes it’s the last week of the month, sometimes it’s closer to the beginning of the month.
Unlike last month this was just a “regular” GLOSSYBOX. It didn’t have a special theme or box.
The box looked pretty good at first glance! I didn’t know what everything was, but I was excited to check it all out.
The November 2015 GLOSSYBOX contained the following items:
~Flora*py Floral Therapy Facial Sheet ($8): This mask is designed to ” awakens and revives tired skin, helps eliminate puffiness and promotes a deep cleansing of the pores”. You need to leave it on for about 20 minutes, but I really think it did help with puffiness. From the looks of the information card a variety of mask types will be sent out so you may get a combination other than Strength + Energy.
~Crabtree & Evelyn La Source Ultra-Moisturising Hand Therapy (25g / 0.9oz) ($9): I’m super excited about seeing this in here. It’s not a new discovery by any means, but it’s a fabulous hand cream for sure. It’s super thick and hydrating and ideal for the upcoming winter months.
~Estee Lauder Revitalizing Supreme Global Anti-Aging Creme (.17oz/5mL) ($8.50): Estee Lauder’s Revitalizing Supreme aims to reduce fine lines and wrinkles and combat dullness and dehydration. I haven’t used it long enough to see a difference, but my skin felt better instantly. It was smoother and hydrated, but not oily.
~Marsk Mineral Eye Shadow in You’re Toast (1.2g / .04oz) ($22.50): This color is amazing. I had some trouble getting it out of the package, but once I saw the color it was all worth it. It’s a shimmery bronze and is just incredible! The shadow went on smoothly I didn’t have any issues with creases or flaking either.
~Beauty for Real D-Fine Perfect Lip Pencil ($14): I am not overly excited by this one. That’s just because I am not a lip liner fan though. I am going to give it to a friend so I didn’t test it on my lips, but I found it to go on my hand smoothly.
All totaled I came up with a value of $62 for the November 2015 GLOSSYBOX. I loved some of the products in it, but I had to say, it wasn’t my favorite GLOSSYBOX. Still between the fabulous eye shadow and the hand cream, it was worth the cost. Everything else was just a bonus!
What do you think of this month’s GLOSSYBOX so far? Just a reminder, GLOSSYBOX has been sending out variations in boxes the last few months so don’t be surprised if your box is a little different than this one. I don’t know that it will be, but it might. If you want to snag this box, grab it soon because it’s probably going to sell out quite quickly.

Glossybox is the most underrated box on the market imo. I subscribed for a year or so but cancelled when I started to get overwhelmed with too many products. After a few months I saw Rue La La was offering a deal where you get 6 months for something like $15 per box. Signed right back up and so glad I did. I was madly in love with last month’s French box, and this looks like a really nice box too. Can’t wait for that hand cream, that is my favorite thing in the box too but I will use everything. They do a super nice job of sending out stuff that most people can use – no outlandish shades of lipstick or eyeshadow, etc.
My box was entirely different. I got 12benefit love at first lather shampoo, Julep Luxe on your lips gloss,Biossane The Revitalizer,Emite Makeup blush and Nails inc uptown polish! I LOVE THIS BOX! All useful items!
Hmm. That sounds a lot like the September box? When did you subscribe?
On sale at gilt city for $150 for 12 months, $105 with welcome30 code for first time buyers!!!
when i use the welcome30 code it only takes $20 off making the one year subscription $120 not $105. Am I doing something wrong?
Love the post! Quick question, the title said “…+Coupon Code” but I read through twice and didn’t see one? Could you please share it?
You can get a 6 or 12 month subscription at GiltCity right now (use “welcome30” for an additional 30% off):
Or if you want to just get a month, use ?LUSCIOUSLIPS? to get a free Doucce Luscious Lip Stain in your first GLOSSYBOX.
Thank you for the quick reply! I purchased the Gilt City deal, now to decide if I should start the subscription this month or wait until December. I believe you have to start before Feb 2016 so it gives a little wiggle room. This will be my first beauty subscription box other than the random Target beauty boxes so looking forward to trying out some new products. Your blog has been very helpful in researching which to try. Thanks again!
got my box today and the crabtree and evelyn handcream (which I was so excited about bc my hands are so dry) was so heavily perfumed, I got dizzy and had to wash it off! Beware if you are sensitive to perfumes!!!
I tried the Strength + Energy mask and LOVED it. That was my first time ever trying a Korean face mask, and I’m a convert! It left my skin noticeably softer and smoother. I’m “eh” on hand cream and wrinkle cream, but am looking forward to trying the eye shadow and lip pencil the next time I get glammed up. Only my second Glossybox, and I’m getting decent value for the money. (I didn’t find any of the awesome deals others mention; I’m paying full price for every box. Oh well!)
The Gilt City GLOSSYBOX deal is still happening. Use coupon code “welcome30” to save an additional 30% off your purchase on Gilt City too.
Can’t wait to get mine in the mail!
