Wantable Intimates November 2015 Subscription

Wantable Intimates sends you either 3 premium pieces of lingerie or 3 premium pieces of loungewear. You can select which you wish to receive in your profile and can update it as needed. They also offer makeup, fitness, style and accessories boxes, again customized to your preferences.  And unlike the majority of other subscription boxes, Wantable allows you to return the box if you aren’t totally 100% happy. They just switched things up a little and now allow you to return just a portion of your box!  Wantable now lists “Your Price” on the information card along with the Retail Price so you can easily determine the amount of credit you will receive if you opt to return items.  If you end up keeping your entire box, a credit of $4 will be posted to your account – making your next box $46.

I want to mention that Wantable has recently increased their price from $40 per box to $50 per box (those who subscribed prior to 10/24 will keep the $40/month rate as long as they are subscribed). In addition, boxes will now include 3 items as opposed to the previous 3-4 items. Wantable indicated that this is so that they can send send you “a look” rather than just pieces. My order was shipped / billed on the 26th of October, so I am assuming I received one of the new “collections”.

I wasn’t overly excited about this first look.  It wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t amazing.

Preferences

I mention it every time, but you can totally customize your Wantable box.  You fill out a questionnaire telling them what you Love, Like and Dislike.  You’ll get more of the things you Love, some of the things you Like and none of the things you Dislike.  It also asks about color preferences and that sort of thing.

The Information Card

My November 2015 Wantable Intimates Collection included the following items:

~Nomad Ruffle Trim Tank (Retail $14, Your Price: $8.48): Cute top, but it didn’t wow me.  I do like the ruffle detail at the bottom though.

~Burdundy Boot Socks (Retail $24, Your Price: $14.55): Is it just me or does $24 seem like a lot for a pair of socks?  I know that’s not “my price”, but I still think even $14 is a lot for socks.  I mean they are cute and I like that they are full think socks that work under boots, but that’s still a lot.  I think these would have been better with a lace detail or something at the top.

~Stripes So Soft Sleep Shirt (Retail $28, Your Price: $16.97): Now this I love.  I wouldn’t just wear it alone as a sleep shirt, but I think that with a pair of black leggings it will be perfect for lounging around.

All totaled my November 2015 Wantable Intimates had a value of $66.  I have to say, for the new $50 price point, I wasn’t impressed.  I was expecting the value to be more like double the cost?  Hopefully next month is better!

Do you subscribe to Wantable?  If so, what’d you get in your box (makeup or accessories or intimates) this month? Have you tried either of the new Edits (Fitness or Style)? If you are interested in signing up for Wantable you can head here and check them out!

How are 2 tops and some socks a “look”? I would be pissed.

I know right? Unless my box was put together before things switched over and I just got billed on the 26th? I don’t know. I can’t really lounge around in my house in any boot socks??

I got that ruffle tank a few months ago with matching shorts. I really don’t see a cohesive look there. I didn’t like thr new quiz at all. I HAD to like socks. Bah. I don’t like socks and you can’t make me! I place zero value on them and would not be happy getting any in a a box. I wear heels every day except for working out. I put it in my notes, so we’ll see.

Want able has really gone downhill the past year. It was so amazing last year, I wondered how they did it. I guess they couldn’t.

i got the matching shorts to the tank top a couple of boxes ago. Maybe it’s just me, but sending out just a tank like that is kind of strange. I could imagine a cami or a plain stretchy tank but that just looks incomplete without some sort of bottom. i think i might officially be done w wantable intimates.

I would be so disappointed in this box. I can do way better with $50 at Nordstrom Rack.

Wow. Glad they have a return policy. This is making me nervous for the one coming to me on the 4th.

Report back on what you get!!!

I was forced to Like or Love panties. How are panties in the Loungewear category? Wouldn’t that go along with the Lingerie category?

      You’d think wouldn’t you???

Ok so my box came a day early, yay! I was worried but they did well by me. I had put in the comments that I liked my pajama tops and bottoms not to be the same color or pattern (prefer solid for one and pattern for the other) and that I loved the wine colored robe in the picture. I got the robe and a pajama set like I wanted. Only error was the tank size, I think I might go up to a large Donne the top is a lil snug, but that’s my bad for telling them I’m a medium. Keeping my entire box for once, but I’m glad I’m locked in at the $40 price.
