Bespoke Post Holiday 2015 Black Friday BLKBX Review
Bespoke Post Black Friday 2015 BLKBX Box

Bespoke Post delivers fresh and interesting lifestyle brands and products to men. Each month, you’ll get to choose from their limited-edition boxes filled with an array of products built around a central, unique theme. This review is on their special “BLKBX” (Black Box) which was free with a purchase of $45 on Black Friday weekend.  I purchase a blanket,  but it worked with box purchases too.

The Box

Bespoke Post ships using a variety of methods but this box arrived via USPS.  It was in a larger box which also contained the blanket I ordered.

The box itself was tiny, but it was packed full!

The Information Card

The Black Friday 2015 BLXBX contained the following items:

~Pine Tar Soap by Dr. Squatch (2.5oz) ($3.50): We love Dr. Squatch soap around here and their Pine Tar soap is our favorite.  It smells like the forest (that’s what I think of when I smell it anyway) and is made with natural pine tar, shea butter and oatmeal.

~Cocktail Bitters by Seven Stills ($7): Our bottle seemed to be leaking a bit so I am not sure if we will use it.  We don’t really make enough cocktails to bother with getting a replacement on it either.  But it’s supposed to leave “spicy, citrus” notes to whatever you’re mixing up.

~Leather Laces 40″ by Line of Trade ($9): I am not totally sure what B is going to lace up with these, but I like them!  He’s still on the hunt for the perfect lace-up dress shoes so we’ll probably just end up saving these as a replacement for when he finds them.

~Shave Cream by Cremo (1oz) (~$1): B has tried lots of products from the Cremo line and is a big fan.  This shave cream smells kind of beachy and arrived at the perfect time because B has National Guard this weekend and needs to shave that beard off!

~Brass Collar Stays by Line of Trade (~$10): Collar Stays might not be exciting, but they are super useful.  I actually wish they made them for kids. And metal ones are way better than plastic ones!  You just gotta remember to take them out of the shirts when you wash them or take them to the cleaners ;).

~Fish Pen Knife by Mikov ($7.81): I am ridiculously into this knife.  It’s just so cute!  Oops. I mean so manly!  The blade is made from 420 stainless steel and can be used for just about whatever.  I mean, you aren’t going to be able to cut down your Christmas tree with this, but you can open mail, cut fishing line or just carve your name in a tree.

All totaled the 2015 Bespoke Post BLKBX had an (estimated) value of $38.31.  For it being a FREE box, it was an amazing value and had lots of great stocking stuffers in it.  Sadly the BLKBX deal is over, but if you are interested in subscribing to Bespoke Post or just want to learn more, click here and check out what boxes they have available.  You can use the coupon code “BOX20” to save 20% off your first box!
