Sapphire Soul December 2015 Balance Box Review

Sapphire Soul is a box designed to inspire your mind, take care of your body and open your soul. Items included in the box could be from existing or brand new companies; focused on holistic and organic health, metaphysical products, and items good for balancing the energy in your home.  They have a ton of different box options, but I received the Large Mindful + Mystic Box which is $61.50 ($54 + $7.50 shipping).  This box includes a healthy mix of items and is the same as the original box, except the large box always includes a piece of jewelry or accessory.

The Box

Sapphire Soul ships via USPS between the 25th and 5th of the month.  This means your January 2016 Sapphire Soul Box would ship between the 25th of December and the 5th of January.

First Look
The Information Card

The December 2015 Sapphire Soul theme was “Sacred Celebration”. The information card includes the majority of items which could appear in the box this month, but they do let you know that you will receive a unique combination of the items pictured.  I received the following:

~Talk to the Hamsa Tank ($34): Love this! I received a Hamsa mug in my SS box in October so this is great. If you aren’t familiar, the hamsa is a sign of protection, luck, happiness, health and good fortune.  The only thing is, Sapphire Soul never asked for your size on this.   I *think* they sent out all larges, but these aren’t a one-size-fits all items.

~Wrist Sari with Sankofa Charm ($35): How gorgeous is this?  Seriously!  It’s a “wrist sari” (also known as a wrap bracelet) and the ombre purple is beautiful.  The Sankofa symbol translates to “reach back and get it” which I love!

Wrap Bracelet

~Dive in Deck ($20): The Dive in Deck is a series of 33 cards that ” features an igniting question or statement paired with inspiring visual art, serving as an access point for inquiry & exploration”.  You can use them alone and journal your answers, as an ice-breaker at a meeting, on a date night, etc.

~Yoga Joes (~$4): What’s not to like about these?  I now want to collect these in all the poses they come in!

~Chakredy 4 Gratitude (10mL) ($28): So these are tiny little salty crystals that you ingest to help you focus on gratitude, generosity, forgiveness, love, openness, joy and passion.  I can’t say I have ever seen anything like this, but I am for sure intrigued.

Chakredy 4 Gratitude

~Sapphire Soul Sacred Celebration Gem Infused Essential Oil Blend ($8): Sacred Celebration is a blend of citrine, pyrite, balsam, sacred frankincense, myrrh, and cinnamon!  The website suggests using it as a rom spray this holiday season which I am going to do.

~Swift-Lite Charcoal ($1.95): I had to do a little research on this one.  Turns out it’s self-lighting charcoal.  I guess you can use it to burn resins, incense or dried herbs.  Place one of the discs in a censor or a heat proof dish and place your items on top of it.

~Coconut Lemongrass Lip Balm ($4): Lip balm is always a win. This stuff smells amazing and made my lips nice and soft.

~Frankincense Resin Pieces, Himalayan Salt Crystal and Pyrite: I had no idea what these little stones were, but it turns out they are frankincense resin pieces.  You burn them like incense.  Interesting.  The Himalayan Salt Crystal is used for purification, cleansing, and dispelling negativity while the Pyrite (which is so beautiful) brings good luck and fortune.

~Buddha Teas: The box also included a sample of Buddha Tea, a small gold pillar candle and some gold foil leaf kind of things.  Not sure if they are decoration or if they actually do something?

~Misc. Items: As usual the box also included coupons and other information on the products in the box.  Lots of reading material!
