For the Faithful is a monthly subscription box full of Christian products delivered right to your door. You may receive items like a cool t-shirt (and they mean cool, something you’ll want to wear), books, DVDs, items for the house or garden, something brilliantly inspirational, or things for the kids.
For the Faithful ships via FedEx Smart Post. Boxes generally ship around the 20th of the month and take about a week to arrive to me.
The February 2016 For the Faithful box included the following items:
~A Woman’s Passionate Pursuit of God DVD ($2.99): This DVD is designed to guide you to “live intentionally as you face life’s daily challenges”. There are six sessions on the DVD and can be used on your own or in a Bible study group.
~Nicol Sponberg Resurrection CD: This is described as a pop/gospel/Christian CD. It’s not exactly my style of music, but based on the Amazon reviews, it’s pretty popular! I will say that she has an amazing voice.
~Happiness Is…A Share Smile (and Other Secrets Between Friends) ($1.49): The retail price on this book is $7.99, but it’s currently on sale for $1.49 (note: that does not include shipping). It’s filled with quotes and other inspiration to show a friend just how much she means to you.
~Natural Stone Cross Necklace: I can’t find this exact necklace online, but it’s a natural stone on a leather (?) cord with a cross etched in the stone. Very pretty and stylish too!
I couldn’t find all of the items online to do a price breakdown, but it seems like many of the items that For the Faithful have been sending lately are discounted online. I also use the discounted price (and not retail price) when doing my calculations and also don’t include shipping costs, which would even things out a tad more. Still, I do think this box was on the low side value wise this month.
