The February 2016 GlobeIn Artisan Box theme was “Rise & Shine” and included the following items:

~Olive Wood Spreader & Olive Wood Spatula (Tunsia): These utensils are handcrafted by Le Souk, a craft workshop in Tunsia.  These are absolutely gorgeous and make for not only usable utensils, but also a great conversation piece.

~Argan Almond Butter (6oz) ($9): I didn’t even know Argan Almond Butter was a thing!  It wish I would have know about it sooner because it’s delicious.  I personally love it on apples, but it’d work on toast or just about anything you use peanut butter on.  It’s made in Morocco from the argan tree and involves a 20 hour process of harvesting the argan fruits, then roasting and pressing their kernels for the rich, nutty oil.

~Block Print Trivet (India): These trivets feature block printing, which is a labor-intensive art form native to India.  It involves carving wood blocks with ornate designs and then pressing the blocks into dye and applying them to the fabric.  The result (as you can see) is beautiful!

~GlobeIn Signature Palm Leaf Basket from Oaxaca, Mexico ($12): GlobeIn always includes a palm leave basket in each of their boxes.  These baskets take hours to weave and can be used to store toiletries or on your counter for tea bags or coffee beans.

What do you think of GlobeIn? If you are interested in subscribing you can head over to their site and get signed up and don’t forget that new customers can use the coupon code “CELEBRATE” to save 25% off your first month of a 3-month or 6-month subscription to GlobeIn Artisan Box.
