Surprise My Pet February 2016 Subscription Box Review
Surprise My Pet is a variety monthly box of pet goodies your pets will absolutely love.  Each monthly box will include fun toys, tasty treats, a theme, other accersories + a doggie costume that matches the theme!  You can select from Tiny (<10lbs), Small (10-20lbs), Medium (20-50lbs) or Large (50+ lbs) to best fit the size of your dog.  I received a Small box to review.

Surprise My Pet ships via USPS on the 24th of the month.

It took me a minute to figure out how this fancy box worked.

My “Small” February 2016 Surprise My Pet box contained the following items:

~Ry’s Ruffery Healthy Dog Treats (4oz) ($4.75): Ry’s Ruffery was founded by a 10 year-old boy who wanted to make sure that his dog was getting the best all-natural treats out there.  When he couldn’t find anything, he decided to visit local veterinarians and began to test recipes in the kitchen with the help of his mom.  Ry’s Ruffery was actually on Shark Tank and got a deal with Barbara Corcoran.  As for the treats my dogs loved them.  They know when we get a dog box (they can smell it) and basically sit right next to me when I am opening the box until I let them test something.

~Jack for Joy! ($9.99): Jack for Joy! is made out of durable SAN, a non-toxic plastic and is “built to last, fun to fetch and easy to clean”.  I actually thought it was a dog massager (which my dog Baxter would LOVE).  They aren’t as into fetch (they just don’t get it), but I bet my brother’s dogs will enjoy this!

~Handy Solutions Lint Roller ($0.75): Genius!  Who has a pet and doesn’t need a lint roller?  Baxter (my Shorkie) and Buddy (my Yorkie) don’t shed, but if I give them haircuts it’s a mess!

~Play Around Hound Mini Tennis Balls (~$6): I can’t find a single pack price on these, so I am estimating them at $6.  They are the perfect mini-size for my little guys who will likely spend more time chewing on them or fighting about who gets to run around with them in their mouth more than they will spend playing fetch with them.  They can barely pick up a full-sized tennis ball so these are great!

~Flavorit Peanut Butter Bone ($7.58): You can fill the “flavor cells” on this with your dogs favorite spreadable treat.  In our house that’s peanut butter and the dogs loved this!  They wouldn’t normally be interested in a nylon bone, but with actual peanut butter inside?  They were all over it.

~Puffsters Chips ($3.99): If I didn’t know better, I would think these are for humans.  They look like it don’t they?  They are made in the USA and are gluten-free, soy-free and grain-free.  We received the “Cranberry & Chicken” flavor which my dogs loved.
All totaled my February 2016 Surprise My Pet box had a value of $33.06. Dog boxes in general aren’t know for being an amazing value if you purchase a month-to-month subscription, so this is about what I expected from this box.  If you opt for an annual subscription, the price of the box drops to $24 ($19 + $5 S/H) which is a much better savings.
