The March 2016 Genuine Articles charity was “Muhsen“. Muhsen is a non-profit organization that strives to create a better understanding of Disabilities in our communities and building a better future for these “Special” People of Jannah, in shaa Allah where they are welcomed and all their needs are addressed as they are accepted by all. The box included the following items:

~The Friday Collective “Beauty is a Gift” Thank You Card & “Shine Like the Universe is Yours!” Birthday Card ($4.50): The Friday Collective creates cards with the goal of reviving ancient wisdom and providing alternative to the mainstream stationery and art print marketplace. These cards are really like any I have seen and I love that they include little cards with the back story on the quotes.

~Hannah’s Gemstone Jewelry Beaded Wrap Bracelet ($52): I can’t find this exact bracelet online so I used the price on the tag.  It’s a wrap bracelet that forms to the shape of your wrist. It doesn’t have a closure, but I also didn’t feel like it was going to fall off my wrist.  Hannah’s Gemstone Jewelry pieces are handmade and each bead is carefully chosen for it’s color and quality. The price seems high, but I have to remind myself that it is handmade and I have no idea how many hours it takes to make a piece like this.

~Pure-n-Healthy Ultonic Paste ($19.95): This is definitely a different type of item. It’s a blend of 7 of the best known super foods (organic honey, turmeric, black seed oil, bee propolis, cinnamon, ginger and garlic) available. The product aids in healthier skin, manages stress, boosts energy, helps digestion, improves focus and alertness. It is also used to cure cold, flu, congestion, sore throat, and any allergy like symptoms.  The benefits sound great, but the taste isn’t really for me. Maybe it’s an acquired taste?  I suspect the capsule form of this would be much more to my taste.

~Simply Mallows Gourmet Marshmallows ($8): Now these were much tastier!  My 7 year-old actually couldn’t wait to try them out.  They tasted fresh and were super flavorful and would have been ideal in s’mores.

~Sweet Crafts by Asthma “Refresh, Renew, Restore” Decal ($5): I won’t use this on a wall, but I think it will be nice on a notebook cover or on the inside of my desk somewhere as a nice reminder.
Genuine Articles March 2016 Subscription Box Review + Coupon CodeAll totaled I came up with a value of $93.95 for the March 2016 Genuine Articles box.  It wasn’t my favorite box from them, but I appreciated the uniqueness of it and I loved learned about the items they included.
