Hammock Pack March 2016 Subscription Box Review - "Charleston"
Hammock Pack is a monthly surprise pack filled with everything you need to take a much-needed getaway without even leaving your home. Boxes are geared towards women and each month you will receive a pack filled with a mix of food, bath products, housewares, and accessories that you’d only find if you visited that month’s destination city.  I subscribe to the “Regular” Box.

Hammock Pack ships via USPS Priority Mail and is supposed to ship around the 25th of the month. Some months my box ships a little later than that and sometimes it’s a bit earlier.

The March 2016 Hammock Pack destination was “Charleston” and included the following items:

~Ripple Coffee Almond Dark Chocolate Molasses ($12): This coffee is a medium/dark roast and has notes of nut, dark chocolate, and molasses. It smells incredible (boxes with coffee in them are the best smelling boxes) and the beans are purchased directly from female farmers in rural areas such as Peru, Rwanda, Guatemala and Bolivia.  This blend comes from Guatemala.

~Charleston Soap Chef Sweet Tea Hand & Body Wash ($12): This Sweet Tea soap is made in Charleston and are described as “beloved favorites” at the Charleston Farmer’s Market. It smells amazing and I love that they got some Sweet Tea in this box without it actually being tea ;).

~Callie’s Charleston Biscuits: I have actually been craving biscuits lately (for real), so the timing is perfect!  I think these will be ideal for Easter morning.  If I am ever in Charleston, I am going to have to check this place out because their biscuits look amazing.  I can only imagine how amazing that place smells!

~Grey Ghost Bakery Chocolate Espresso Cookies ($4.99): Grey Ghost Cookies have appeared in a few subscription boxes over the years and they are always a welcome treat.  You can certainly taste the espresso in them, but I don’t think that’s a bad thing at all!

I couldn’t do a full breakdown on this box, but I enjoyed it.  Hammock Pack boxes do sometimes tend to be a little food heavy (like this one is), but all the items look great and we will use / eat every one of them.

What do you think of Hammock Pack?  What city / state would you like to see them do next?
