Wantable Intimates April 2016 Subscription Box Review
Wantable Intimates is a monthly intimates subscription service.  You will either receive three premium pieces of lingerie or 3 premium pieces of loungewear based on your profile preferences. They also offer makeup, fitness, style and accessories boxes, again customized to your preferences.  And unlike the majority of other subscription boxes, Wantable allows you to return the box if you aren’t totally 100% happy. Now you are even able to return just a portion of your box!  Wantable lists “Your Price” on the information card along with the “Retail Price” so you can easily determine the amount of credit you will receive if you opt to return items.  If you end up keeping your entire box, a credit of $4 will be posted to your account – making your next box $46.

I want to mention that Wantable has recently increased their price from $40 per box to $50 per box (those who subscribed before 10/24 which I did will keep the $40/month rate as long as they are subscribed). Also, boxes will now include three items as opposed to the previous 3-4 items. Wantable indicated that this is so that they can send you “a look” rather than just pieces.

I mention it every time, but you can totally customize your Wantable box.  You fill out a questionnaire telling them what you Love, Like and Dislike.  You’ll get more of the things you Love, some of the things you Like and none of the things you Dislike.  It also asks about color preferences and that sort of thing. Wantable has also launched the “My Stream” which includes product and customer photos of items from Wantable boxes. You can scroll through the images, and if you see something you love, you can request it in your next box.

My April 2016 Wantable Intimates Collection included the following items:

~Nouveau by Pajama Drama Dot Legging (Retail Price: $22, Your Price: $13.33): Love these!  I don’t know that I ever ever gotten leggings from Wantable before, but I hope to get more of them in the future. They are a cotton legging so they don’t stretch quite as much as a spandex type legging, but the pattern more than makes up for that.

~Nouveau by Pajama Drama Long-Sleeved Tunic (Retail Price: $28, Your Price: $16.97): I would consider this loungewear, but I feel like the price point (the retail price anyway) is too high.  Still it’s a cute top and it does work nicely with the leggings.

~All Over Lace Sport Band Hipster (Blush) (Retail Price: $16, Your Price: $9.70): Not really my style, but they are pretty cute I guess?  But not exactly something I would select for myself or pay retail price for.%MCEPASTEBIN%

IMG_5157All totaled I came up with a value of $66 for my April 2016 Wantable box.  I must say, I am not impressed.  The item were cute, but the value was just not there.  I pay the grandfathered rate of $40/month and didn’t think the value was great, so I can’t imagine what I would think if I paid the new $50/month.  For the first time ever, I may end up returning my entire box.

Do you subscribe to Wantable?  If so, what’d you get in your box (makeup or accessories or intimates) this month? Have you tried either of the new Edits (Fitness or Style)? If you are interested in signing up for Wantable, you can head here and check them out!

Spread the love
