Beauty Box 5 April 2016 Subscription Box Review
Beauty Box 5 delivers a sample box of all things beauty. Each box contains 4 – 5 samples of a variety of makeup, skin care, fragrances and everything in between!  Boxes are $12/month if you do a month-to-month subscription, however, the price drops if you subscribe for an extended period of time.

Beauty Box 5 ships via DHL and I typically receive my box between the 10th and 15th of the month.

Once again this box was packed full.

The April 2016 Beauty Box 5 theme was “Hydration Vacation” and included the following items:

~Soapbox Body Wash ($0.60): I am super excited about this. They sell this brand at Target so it’s not exactly high-end, but I love Target so it makes me happy.  It smells a little be achy and for every bottle of Soapbox you buy, they will give a bar of soap to someone in need.

~Jelly Pong Pong Paradise Pigments (Fig Jam) (4g / Full-Size) ($19.95): Wow.  This is BRIGHT.  It looks hot pink in the jar and it looks even hotter pink when I tested it out.  I like the creamy formula, but I don’t think I can pull this color off.

~Masker Aside All Eyes on Me (1 pair) (~$5): These were hydrating and left my under eye area feeling very refreshed.  I was impressed, but I still think I like the ToGoSpa EYES better.

~Chella Passionate Pink Moisturizing Lip Pencil (1.35g) (~$9): This is another bold color.  It’s called “Passionate Pink” and is almost a deep rose shade. A little of this goes a long way so be warned.

~Global Beauty Care Makeup Cleansing Wipes (30 Wipes) ($4): These wipes not only remove makeup, but also help to condition and smooth the skin.  I personally have been using them to wipe off swatches and couldn’t be happier with them.  They work well and have a nice light scent.

~Swatches

All totaled I came up with a value of $38.55 for the April 2016 Beauty Box 5. The value as amazing, but the colors were a miss for me personally.
