Gentleman’s Box is the first subscription box that caters to the modern gentleman. Each month honors a noteworthy gentleman from the past or present. In each box you can expect to find four to five products, alongside the latest issue of GQ.
Gentleman’s Box ships via USPS. For orders or subscriptions placed before the 25th of the month, your first box will be shipped the day you subscribe or purchase your gift. If you order after the 25th of the month your first box will ship the 10th of the following month.
I am always impressed with the quality of the products in Gentleman’s Box boxes!
The April 2016 Gentleman’s Box was curated in honor of “Our Favorite Superhero” (Superman) and included the following items:
~Wolf Clothing Co. Laven Socks ($14): Love these! The navy polka dots are fairly tame, but then you add the pink toes, heels and top and they end up being so much fun. The socks are high-quality and look like they will stand up well in the wash.
~The Fashion Anchor (12-Pack) ($6): The information card values these at $15, but that is the price for a 36-pack and we received a 12-pack. These are billed as “The World’s Best Collar Stays”. They are super similar to glue dots. Like same texture, stickiness, everything. I am assuming the formula is different since they are meant to be attached to clothing. They are SUPER sticky and I actually had trouble getting them detached from my finger. LOL. They will for sure keep your collar down ;).
~Knot Society Navy Polka Dot Tie ($30): This tie is an exclusive design for Gentleman’s Box subscribers. I love it and think it’s very stylish and I know that B will happily wear it to work.
~Gentleman’s Box Eye Glass Tie Clip ($20): How cute is this? I think it’s my favorite tie clip that Gentleman’s Box has ever sent. I can’t say for sure that B will wear it on a regular basis, but I am sure he will give it a chance here and there.
~Frey Detergent for Men ($6): I have never heard of a detergent especially for men before, The appearance and fragrance is tailored to appeal to men more than the ones you typically find in the laundry detergent aisle. I don’t do B’s laundry separately, but I might when I use this. It has a masculine, almost cologne like scent to it (it’s not super strong though) that would be best suited for B’s clothes (and not mine or the kids).
~GQ Magazine ($6): GQ magazine used to be shipped in the box, but it now comes separate. You get two things to look forward to each month from Gentleman’s Box!
All totaled I came up with a value of $82 for the April 2016 Gentleman’s Box. I am super happy with the value and loved the curation this month!
