Wantable Intimates May 2016 Subscription Box Review
Wantable Intimates is a monthly intimates subscription service.  You will either receive three premium pieces of lingerie or 3 premium pieces of loungewear based on your profile preferences. They also offer makeup, fitness, style and accessories boxes, again customized to your preferences.  And unlike the majority of other subscription boxes, Wantable allows you to return the box if you aren’t totally 100% happy. Now you are even able to return just a portion of your box!  Wantable lists “Your Price” on the information card along with the “Retail Price” so you can easily determine the amount of credit you will receive if you opt to return items.  If you end up keeping your entire box, a credit of $4 will be posted to your account – making your next box $46.

I want to mention that Wantable has recently increased their price from $40 per box to $50 per box (those who subscribed before 10/24 which I did will keep the $40/month rate as long as they are subscribed). Also, boxes will now include three items as opposed to the previous 3-4 items. Wantable indicated that this is so that they can send you “a look” rather than just pieces.

I mention it every time, but you can totally customize your Wantable box.  You fill out a questionnaire telling them what you Love, Like and Dislike.  You’ll get more of the things you Love, some of the things you Like and none of the things you Dislike.  It also asks about color preferences and that sort of thing. Wantable has also launched the “My Stream” which includes product and customer photos of items from Wantable boxes. You can scroll through the images, and if you see something you love, you can request it in your next box.

My May 2016 Wantable Intimates Collection included the following items:

~Hi Lo Sweatshirt with Side Zippers Mina Lisa by Aegean Apparel (Retail Price: $30, Your Price: $15.43): Meh.  I am not feeling this. I do like the material (it’s soft and would be very cozy), but I am not into the zippers on the side and it’s very boxy, which isn’t for me at all.   It’s also almost crop top’ish which I also don’t love.  Overall, just not a good one for me.

~High Rise Short with Raw Hem Mina Lisa by Aegean Apparel (Retail Price: $30, Your Price: $15.43): Now these I like. They are meant to be the match to the sweatshirt above, but I think they’d be better paired with just a tank.  They are the same soft material as the sweatshirt and would also be nice to lounge around in.

~Rene Rofe Special Edge Hipster – Blue (Retail Price: $10, Your Price: $5.14): Very cute and comfortable and for $5, these are for sure keeper for me.

All totaled I came up with a value of $70 for my May 2016 Wantable box.  I pay the grandfathered rate of $40/month, but I still wasn’t wowed by this.  Maybe had I liked the sweatshirt I would have been a little more impressed.  Still it’s not a total loss because I can return the sweatshirt and got a few cute pieces.

Do you subscribe to Wantable?  If so, what’d you get in your box (makeup or accessories or intimates) this month? Have you tried either of the new Edits (Fitness or Style)? If you are interested in signing up for Wantable, you can head here and check them out!

Spread the love

I used to LOVE Wantable and never thought I would cancel. Well I did cancel about 6 months ago. I subscribed to the makeup, intimates and accessories and all of them seemed to take a dive in quantity and value. Sad. However, I LOVE that sweatshirt you received. I would subscribe again to try and get that but I don’t know that I want to mess with them again until/if it improves. Hmmmmmmm!
