For the Faithful May 2016 Subscription Box Review
The May 2016 For the Faithful box included the following items:

~Beverage Coasters ($3.99): These chalkboard style coasters contain two each of the following three designs:

The Lord is faithful to all his promises and loving toward all He has made. Psalm 145:13.

You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil. My cup overflows. Psalm 23:5

God demonstrates His own Love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 5:8

They are sturdy and while not ceramic, they aren’t just cardboard either.  They have a protective coating on them so drink rings / stains won’t be an issue.

~You’ve Got A Friend DVD ($7.06): From Amazon: “Bobby Graham is a twelve-year-old boy whose personal problems haven’t gotten in the way of his dream: to win the American Soapbox Derby Championship. With the odds against him – including his school foe and main competition in the race – Bobby is determined to prove himself with a personal best and unbeatable new self-confidence.”  I think my 8 year-old will like this and I like that it’s something I know we can watch without having to worry about swearing or violence.

~Joy Whitlock God and A Girl CD ($1.49): From Christianbook.com: “Joy Whitlock is a study in contrasts. With a commanding voice that is vulnerable, yet fearless, she reveals her authentic and passionate spiritual journey, communicating hope with struggle, faith despite fear, without propaganda. Musically, her debut release God And A Girl is reminiscent of singer/songwriters like Kendall Payne and K.T. Tunstall.”

~Glass Cutting Board ($6.99): This can be used as a cutting board / serving board.  It’s  8″ x 6″; heat safe up to 392 degrees.  It’s lightweight and very pretty!

All totaled I came up with a value of $19.53 for the May 2016 For the Faithful.  That’s on the low side, but I used actual, current on-line prices (not including shipping) and not retail prices.
