I couldn’t wait to see what the theme of this season’s box was!

Fortune Cookie Soap Summer 2016 Subscription Box Review

The Summer 2016 Fortune Cookie Soap theme was “Just Keep Swimming” and included the following items:

~Shark Bait Fortune Cookie Soap: “Shark Bait” is a blend of sweet oranges, creamy vanilla and sandalwood infused with strawberries.  I love these fancy soaps for a guest bath.  People will be a little scared to use them at first (I know I would be), but that’s what they are meant for.

v
~Lil’ Blue OCD Hand Sanitizer: “Lil’ Blue” is a blend of anjou pear and juicy apples along with plum blossoms, sandalwood and a twist of amber.  It’s not too “girly” so my 8 year-old has decided he’s going to take it to school with him and keep it in his desk.

~Intervention! Whipped Cream: Intervention is a mix of coconut milk and tangy pineapples and is probably my favorite scent in this box.  It reminds me of a tropical vacation!  The lotion itself is probably one of my favorites from FCC too.  It’s light, but also very rich and moisturizing.

~Jelly Man Don’t Be Jelly Soap: Jelly Man is a blend of black cherry, watermelon and iced guava nectar with strawberries and key lime mixed in. The texture does take some getting used to though. It’s slimy. LOL! Imagine washing your hands / body with a firmer version of jello.

~Whale Talk Perfume Oil: Whale Talk is a mash-up of strawberries, black currant, jasmine, grapefruit and fresh avocado. It’s very sweet, but I love it.

~Aqua Scum Spray Lotion: I am generally not a fan of spray lotions (I always have trouble with them getting clogged), but this smells amazing.  It’s a blend of lychee, crisp apple and peach nectar.  I didn’t think it was super moisturizing, but it the smell made up for it.

~Oooooooh Baracuda Lip Gloss: This gloss is not only a fantastic color, but it also tastes delicious.  It’s a “pairing of juicy cantaloupe, crisp green honeydew, and sweet red watermelon, with a splash of lime and a sprinkle of raw sugar cane”. It’s got a lot of shine and is a nice splash of color for summer.

~Fin. Noggin. Duuude. Pedi-Bomb: I haven’t used my little turtle pedi-bomb yet, but isn’t he cute?  You just drop it into your foot bath and let your feet soak.

Wanted to give some info in regards to their discount code. Not sure if they have it listed on their boxes, I didn’t get one. But to use their coupon, you will have to use it online only. They closed their retail store and just have a warehouse. I shop in the area where the new warehouse is located. I’ve emailed them to see if I could just pick up an order rather than have it mailed to me. Waiting to see what they decide. Just a friendly fyi. 🙂
