SnackSack May 2016 Subscription Box Review

SnackSack delivers better tasting, originality, and higher nutritional value, in the form of a subscription snack box, once a month. Boxes include a mixture of snacks that are organic or all-natural, non-GMO, vegan, fair-trade, or gluten-free.

SnackSack ships around the 15th of the month.  If you sign up by the 1st of the month you will receive a box that month, otherwise your subscription will begin the following month.

The May 2016 SnackSack included the following items:

~Blue Corn Cabo Chips: Cabo Chips are non-GMO and gluten-free.  They are okay alone, but with salsa and guac?  Amazing!

~Pasta Chips – Mediterranean Sea Salt: I love Pasta Chips!  I discoverd them thanks to subscription boxes and I have been a fan since. They contain real pasta and while I would describe them as more of a cracker than a chip, they are still really good.

~ONA Cookies Peanut Butter: These are chewy peanut butter cookies.  They are gluten-free, grain-free, dairy-free and soy-free.

~Munk Pack Oatmeal Fruit Squeeze: I just can’t get into pouches.  The texture isn’t for me.  One of my kids (probably L) will have (and enjoy) this.

~Barney Almond Butter (Crunchy): I used to not enjoy crunchy peanut butter when I was a kid, but I like it now.  This is a snack pack so it’s perfect to take to work or school as a snack.  Peanut butter isn’t the easiest thing to clean out of tupperware, so snack packs like this are the way to go.

~Chic-a-Peas – Sea Salt: I like baked chickpeas way better than cooked ones. These are gluten-free, non-GMO and make for a tasty snack.

~Raw Rev Glo Dark Chocolate Expresso Crunch: This bar is “peanut-free with rich dark chocolate chips and a satisfying whole-coffee-bean crunch”.  These bars are growing on me.  They still aren’t as tasty as like a LUNA bar or something, but still good.

~Laughing Giraffe Organics Snakaroons: I usually like these, but I wasn’t a fan today. They had just too much of a coconut taste.  I know they are coconut snacks, but still.  LOL.  They are non-GMO, gluten-free raw and vegan.

~Fru-licious Fruit & Cream Smoothie: We currently have these freezing so the kids can have them this weekend!  They are made with real fruit juice and come in two flavors – banana and strawberry.

~Olympos Pitted Green Olives: B loves these and can scarf them down in about two seconds. I’ve never been into olives, but if you are, try these!

~One Potato Two Potato Kettle Potato Chips: These are non-GMO, gluten-free and super tasty!
