Hammock Pack June 2016 Subscription Box Review - "Georgia"
Hammock Pack is a monthly surprise pack filled with everything you need to take a much-needed getaway without even leaving your home. Boxes are geared towards women and each month you will receive a pack filled with a mix of food, bath products, housewares, and accessories that you’d only find if you visited that month’s destination city.  I subscribe to the “Regular” Box.

Hammock Pack ships via USPS Priority Mail and is supposed to ship around the 25th of the month. Some months my box ships a little later than that and sometimes it’s a bit earlier.

This box looked a little food heavy at first glance.

The June 2016 “Georgia” Hammock Pack included the following items:

~Revive Bath & Body – Himalayan Pink Sea Salt Bath Soap ($14.99): This bath soak is vegan and cruelty-free. It contains Hibiscus Flowers, Himalayan Pink Sea Salt, Sea Salts and Epsom Salts.  It’s meant to be sprinkled into the bath tub, but I am kind of wondering if I can’t use it as a scrub in the shower?  I am going to give it a try.

~Southern Culture Foods – Pancake Mix ($7.99): I have received different flavors of these pancakes mixes in the past, but never Peach Cobbler!  The information card suggests that these are great to treat your guests to a healthy dose of southern hospitality and I’d agree.  These mixes aren’t something I would buy on my own and always feel like such a treat.

~Emily G’s – Peach Marmalade (~$2): This is a blend of sun-ripened peaches, orange, and a touch of ginger.  I tried it on toast and it was good, but I feel like it would be AMAZING on a turkey burger with avocado!

~Loose Sugar Bakery Pralines ($2.50) Loose Sugar Bakery is located in Washington County, Georgia in small batches with pecans made from local Georgia growers. Pralines aren’t my favorite treat, so I am going to save this for B.

~Bacon’s Heir – Rosemary & Sea Salt Pork Clouds (~$2): This is another snack that B loves so I am saving them for him!

All totaled I came up with a value of $29.48 for the June 2016 “Georgia” Hammock Pack.  I thought it was a little food heavy, but the value was about what I expected from the box.

What do you think of Hammock Pack?  What city / state would you like to see them do next?
