Fortune Cookie Soap boxes always smell SO good!

Fortune Cookie Soap Fall 2016 Subscription Box Review

The Fall 2016 Fortune Cookie Soap theme was “As You Wish” and included the following items:

~Drop.Your.Sword – Fortune Cookie Soap: Drop.Your.Sword is a “blend of medieval honey apple mead”.  The fortune cookie hand soaps are one of my favorite FCS products.  They are so unique and look great in a dish in your guest bath.

~Prepare to Die – OCD Hand Sanitizer: The name of this one cracks me up!  It’s giving all those germs living on your hands a little warning of what is going to happen to them.  The scent is “a warm blend of fresh baked cookie dough spiced with clove and saffron”.  It’s amazing!

~Mostly Dead – Whipped Cream Body Butter: This body butter makes your “Mostly Dead” dry skin come back to life!  It has nice toasted almond, honey and pumpkin scent and is making me wish fall was here now.

~Inconceivable! Perfume Oil: Inconceivable is “fall woods, black amber and poached pears topped with whipped vanilla cream”.  I wonder if I could add this to something to make it a room spray?  I need to do one research.

~Mawiage – Scented Cotton Ball: I am not totally sure what one does with a scented cotton ball, but yes, it does smell good!  Mawiage is “rich pound cake, scented with cardamon pistachio, and rosewater topped with creamy buttercream”.

~Pit of Despair – Steam Me Up Scotty!: Shower steamers are a great way to turn your own shower into a spa experience.  Pit of Despair smells better than it sounds – it’s “fresh cut lemongrass and tropical plumeria” and again would make an amazing room spray.

~Buttercup – Shampoo: Buttercup is “candied rum wrapped with ripe fig, bergamot, vetiver, warm sandalwood and sweet vanilla musk”.  I am not 100% sure if I noticed anything amazing about my hair after I used this, but it did smell fantastic.

~True Love – Facial Cleansing Oil: Isn’t this gorgeous?  You pour it into your hands and then rub them together until it turns milky white.  It’s a “sparkling blend of fresh citrus, creamy  jasmine petals and a dash of sea salt” and made my skin feel amazing.

~Knight Cream – Facial Moisturizer: The final item in the box was a facial moisturizer. It’s unscented (the only unscented item in the box) and works to protect your skin from dryness and shrieking eels.

The Princess Bride is one of my favorite movies, I wish this wasn’t sold out!

The scented cotton ball was just so everyone could smell the scent before the launch. They use to do more scents and the whipped cream you’d get a surprise out of 4 different scents. Loyal customers wanted to smell everything before the launch because it can get crazy, so that was their way to have everyone smell the scents.
