Nomadik is a monthly box of outdoor fun, delivered right to your door. Each box includes 3 to 5 high-end products, access to exclusive discounts from top outdoor brands and a value of up to $45+.
Nomadik ships via USPS and promises that boxes will arrive by the end of the month.
Nomadik did a little revamp of their boxes (they decreased the price and are now sending more products with a lower overall dollar value) and this was my first month seeing a box with the changes.
The July 2016 Nomadik box included the following items:
~Nokero Solar Light ($19.99): This is amazing! You charge it up in the sun and after just a day of charging (6-8 hours) it can be used on the low setting for 15 hours or the high setting for 6 hours. It really works and like the website says, it is bright enough for reading. I think this is an excellent item to have on hand if you are a camper or not! Add this to your emergency kit now.
~Surface Sun Systems – Dry Touch Sunscreen ($10): This sunscreen is unscented and is designed with fisherman, hunters and avid outdoorsman in mind. It works for everyone though and is water resistant, hypoallergenic and child safe. It’s not greasy and feels like you don’t have anything on at all.
~PHIVEbar Superfood (Original and Blueberry) ($6): These bars are USDA certified organic, non-GMO and gluten-free. They are made with a combination of fruits, nuts and seeds and work “in synergy with your body”. I tried the blueberry and did feel like it gave me a boost of energy and cured my hunger.
~Light My Fire Spork ($2.95): This doesn’t get the best reviews, but we actually own a few of these and like them. I sometimes pack them in my 8-year-olds lunch when he needs silverware. They work like a charm for him and keeping track of one item is easier than keeping track of all three. ETA: Note from Nomadik: The reason the spork was made is to have a light-weight and single utensil for hiking, backpacking, camping, etc. Silverware normally weighs a decent amount.
All totaled the July 2016 Nomadik had a value of $38.94. They promise a value of $40+, but I used the online price for the spork and not the retail price. Had I used the retail price the value would have been at the promised $40 point. Not an incredible value, but the mixture of items was very fun!
