I was pretty impressed with this first look as there looked to be a good mixture of items in here.

The July 2016 Smuggler’s Bounty theme was “Jabba’s Place” and included the following items (note: this was the first month that Smuggler’s Bounty ever included an information card):

~Pop! Jabba the Hutt Mug: As you know I love mugs so really any mug in a subscription box is good for me.  I am still waiting on a Chewie mug though!

~Funko Star Wars Pop! Top:  Instead of a t-shirt as is usually included in Smuggler’s Bounty, this month included a hat.  I prefer the t-shirts because no one in my family wears hats.  This one features C-3PO and is from the new Tops line from Funko!  Also, it’s the first Star Wars Pop! Top ever made.

~Pop! Boba Fett Plush: Plush is another new line coming from Funko! and Boba Fett is the first one to be released to customers.  It’s not large (maybe 6 inches), but it has great details and colors.

~Pop! Star Wars #121 R2-D2 (Jabba’s Skiff): This Pop! Vinyl is a Smuggler’s Bounty exclusive.  I am always very impressed with the level of detail on these figures and this one is no exception.  It really is a work of art!  The information card gives a small breakdown of the process that goes into making these as well.  I only wish that the print was larger as it is SO HARD to read.

~Patch & Pin: Every Smuggler’s Bounty box also includes a patch and a pin, which are always Smuggler’s Bounty exclusives.  The pin features the Rancor Jabba kept in his palace as his pet. The patch looks to be the Bounty Hunter Boushh, however it’s actually Princess Leia on a rescue mission.

~September Box Information:  The flip-side of the information card revealed that the September 2016 Smuggler’s Bounty is “Death Star”.

Smuggler’s Bounty is full of exclusive items so it’s impossible to do a cost breakdown.  I didn’t like this box as much as I have enjoyed some of their other ones.  I  think it was because I had come to expect these boxes to include t-shirts and this one featured a hat instead.

If you are interested in ordering (as I mentioned the next box ships in September 2016), you can check them out here.

I’m shocked that an official box would confuse a Rancor with one of Jabba’s Gamorian Guards. Because that pin is not a Rancor. It’s one of Jabba’s Guards.

I was seriously disappointed with this box and if I get another like this it will be my last! They got people interested in these subscriptions with the exclusive pops involved. Now instead of 2 pops there are all these other collectibles involved, as I said if there is not a significant upgrade to the pops in the smugglers bounty I would guess the subscriptions will start to dwindle!!

P.S. Please…Please no more hats PLEASE!!!!
