I can usually find spoilers for BOXYCHARM on SnapChat before I get my box, but they do have some slight variations within boxes.

The August 2016 BOXYCHARM theme was “Express Yourself” and included the following items:

~Coastal Scents Blush + Bronzer Mini Palette ($19.95): I love when subscription boxes include palettes!  This one has bronzers, contouring tones and blushes all in one.  The colors are fabulous (the lightest shimmery bronzer is my favorite), and this is such an amazing size for traveling.  The little brush they included along with this (it’s in the box with the palette) makes this even better.

~Aloette Time Repair Serum (1oz) ($48): Time Repair Serum “is a powerful age-defying serum, fortified with alpha and beta hydroxy acids to smooth away dead skin cells and powerful antioxidants to protect skin from damaging free radicals”.  I thought the consistency was more of an eye cream than your typical serum texture, but I am happy with it so far.  I can’t see any results yet, but I liked the way it made my skin feel.

~Dirty Little Secret Velvet Matte Liquid Lipstick (Phantom) ($10): Phantom is a “fire-y red with orange undertones”.  It’s bold and is a cross between a liquid lipstick and a lip stain.  The staying power is amazing, so make sure you are committed to this color before applying.

~Doucce Cosmetics Maxlash Volumizer Mascara ($22): This mascara gives you “outrageous volume and length”.  I thought it did just that, and I didn’t find it to be clumpy or flakey.

~Beauty For Real Shadow Stix (All Day Latte) ($19): Oh, I love this. It’s a soft brown with just a hint of burgundy.  It can be worn alone or as a base to build colors with.  The best part though is the built-in sharpener.  How cool is that?

All totaled I came up with a value of $118.95 for the August 2016 BOXYCHARM.  That is just an amazing value for a $21/box and, as usual, I am in awe!

Did your Aloepure smell ok? When I first opened mine, I thought it smelled like nail polish remover….
