Mission Cute September 2016 Subscription Box Review

MissionCute is a monthly subscription box full of cute stuff, but with a mission. Each MissionCute box comes with at least two items made by small-but-mighty artisans and local businesses.  Every month they also partner with a different nonprofit to help promote their mission.  50% of the net proceeds of each box are donated to the chosen (you can vote on it) monthly nonprofit (this month’s partner is Crush Childhood Cancer) and MissionCute also sponsors and works on a service project each month in their community.

This box looked amazing!

The September 2016 MissionCute partner was “Crush Childhood Cancer.”  Their mission is to help families who have children with cancer offset the financial burdens associated with their child’s diagnosis.  The box contained the following items:

~TIMI Rainbow Washi Tape Set ($8): Super cute!  This washi tape can be used in your planner, for craft projects or even to seal envelopes.

~Envelope Pocket Pad ($10): This little notepad is the perfect addition to your bag! It’s cute and functional.  It doesn’t include a pen, but you could easily slide one in here.  It’s snug enough that it won’t come out too.

~Sticky Note Tabs ($3.50): Again, another love!  These little zoo animals will be great for marking pages in my planner and will make good bookmarks.

~Super Cute Gel Pen Set ($8): What these pens lack in writing ability they make up for in cuteness.  They don’t write awful, but they aren’t like my beloved Paper Mate Ink Joy pens either.  I will certainly use these adorable multi-colored pens, though.  The pens are labeled with their respective colors.

~Turquoise Silicone Watch ($19): Not the fanciest watch around, but it fits the “cute” part of this box very well. It’s a great little way to add a pop of color to your outfit.

~Larabar (Bonus Item): I mentioned it the other day, but I don’t love Larabars.  They are made from whole food, and each flavor contains no more than nine ingredients.  I will say that Apple Pie is one of the better flavors I have tried.

~Watercolor 5×7 Love Quote ($9): Beautiful quote and beautiful print!  I will put this up in my office.

All totaled the September 2016 MissionCute had a value of $57.50.  I was thrilled with this box.  Everything was adorable, and I couldn’t be happier!
