Love With Food no longer prints the product details on the information card.  Instead, all October product information can be located on their website.

The October 2016 Love With Food theme was “Love is Wicked” and included the following items:

~Dick & Jane Educational Snacks: L (my 8-year-old) gets such a kid out of these.  As he eats them, he reads the name and tells me which President they were.  These are vegan, nut-free and have a slight shortbread taste to them. Just not as buttery as traditional shortbread.

~Beanitos Bean Chips (Sweet Chili & Sour Cream and Garden Fresh Salsa): Bean chips don’t sound very appetizing (at least they don’t to me), but they are tasty (and only 3 Weight Watchers points per serving)!  They are both good, but I felt like the Sweet Chili & Sour Cream ones had more flavor.

~Oregon Chai Tea Latte Mix: I am not a fan of chai tea, so I am going to pass this on to my cousin or SIL.  The idea of curling up in a blanket with this and watching Netflix does sound good, though.

~Divina Fig Spread: I tried this on toast and thought it was just okay, but I think it would really shine on a meat and cheese platter with crackers and fruit.

~Awake Energy Granola (Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter): These bars contain 1/2 as much caffeine as half a cup of coffee and zero artificial colors.  If you are looking for an afternoon pick-me-up, look no further!

~Westminster Bakers Co. Whole Wheat Snack Crackers: These are the whole wheat version of the oyster cracker. Maybe a tad harder and not quite as tasty, but that’s what they reminded me of.  In soup they’d be a winner.

~Almond Roca Buttercrunch Toffee: This gluten-free treat has chocolate + toffee + almonds. I had a bite and was very impressed with the flavor combo.

~Annie B’s Butter Rum Caramel: My husband sampled this and gave it his approval.  It’s a sea salt caramel with a kick!

~Coupons / Offers: As usual the box included an assortment of coupons and offers for products in the box and other partner brands.
