October 2016 WhiskerBox Box

WhiskerBox is a monthly subscription box for cats. Every WhiskerBox item is pawpicked from around the world and tested by fellow felines. Only the best are selected into WhiskerBox each month, including stylish apparel, stimulating toys, scrumptious treats, and specialty items.  Two box options are available: Mew Box ($29.95/month) which includes 3-4 premium items with a value of $35+ and the Meow Box ($39.95/month) which includes 4-6 premium items with a value of $65+.  I received the Meow Box to review.

WhiskerBox ships via USPS. WhiskerBox orders are shipped on the 15th of the month, and takes between 2 to 8 business days to arrive depending on your location.

I was so impressed with the presentation and packaging on this box!

The October 2016 WhiskerBox included the following items:

~Skeleton Crisp Toy by For Mew ($7): These crisps include organic catnip and a bunch of crinkle for your cats to enjoy. I don’t have cats, but my brother does so they tested all of these toys out for me.  It was reported that this was a big hit!

~Birbit Rabbit Fur / Feather Cat Toy ($3): This is handmade with rabbit fur for body and feathers for tail.  Buddy (my dog) was all over this.  I explained to him that it was for his cat cousins, but he still wanted in that package.

~Egg-Splosive Treat by Cloud 9 ($7 per information card): These treats are grain-free and contain no fillers, no by-products and no preservatives. And if your cat is watching their weight, not to worry because they on;y have 2.1 calories per treat.

~Truluxe Premium Food from Weruva ($3): Weruva bills itself as “people food for pets”.  I am not going to try, but their food is grain-free, gmo-free, msg-free and carrageenan-free.

~Lion Mane Costume by Cat Couture ($12.95): LOL!!!  I knew my brother wouldn’t send me a picture of this on his cat(s), so I took it upon myself to make a picture of Buddy (he’s a Yorkie) in it.  It was a little snug, but I think he looks great.

~The Sweet Tooth Bow Tie ($7): Cute!  I didn’t have Buddy model this one, but he would have looked very handsome in it for sure.

All totaled I came up with a value of $39.95 for the October 2016 WhiskerBox. I used current online prices and not retail prices so my prices don’t match the prices on the information card.
