The October 2016 Culture Chest explored Asian Cuisine and included the following items:

~Cora Cooks Pancit ($9.95): Pancit is the generic term for noodles in the Philippines.  Cora is the youngest sibling and never gets a chance to do any real jobs in the kitchen – until now!  The illutrations are great and the book shows the sweet relationship between in a mother and daughter in the kicthen.

~Bee-bim Bop! by Linda Sue Park ($7.18): Bee-bim Bop (mix-mix rice) is a traditional Korean dish. This book depicts another mother – child making memories in the kitchen togerher. It has amazing catchy rhymes in it and also includes a recipe for Bee-bim Bop!

~Asian Snacks: The box also included an assortment of Asian snacks including Shrimp cracksers, Seaweed Snacks and Hello Panda biscuits.  We all agreed that the seaweed was a no, the Shrimp Crackers were different and that the panda snacks were a win!

I was expecting the value of this to be higher, but I loved the concept!
