I have no idea what I did with my information card after I opened this one up, but the box did have one ;).

Our January 2017 Birchbox Man included the following items:

~Bombas Merino Wool Calf Socks ($18) & Bombas Striped Quarters ($12): Who doesn’t love Bombas? My husband knew what lifestyle item he was selecting this month when he saw these.  The striped quarters are your more traditional athletic sock while the merino wool calf socks are more dressy.  My husband is kind of obsessed with this wool Bombas.  They are well made and he said they were super comfortable.

~DTRT Skin Saver Ceramidin Cream (15mL) ($11.70) + DTRT BB Boys Get Ready SPF 50, DTRT Dear Matt Lotion & DTRT Better Tomorrow Cream (Sample Packets): This cream contains ceramide, which forms an insoluble film on your skin to lock in moisture and protect it from pollutants.  My husband took this out of town with him and I think it will be fantastic for his travels.  The box also included three small packets of some of the other products in their line.  They are basically one-time use, but since they are a bonus item it’s not a big deal.

~Ursa Major Morning Mojo Bar Soap (~$3): This soap contains volcanic rock which gently exfoliates, honey and shea butter which soothe irritation, and peppermint oil finish it off. Thanks to subscription boxes my husband has become a bar soap lover.  This smells great and is another great item for traveling.

~R+Co BADLANDS Dry Shampoo Paste (0.25oz) ($3.19): I actually received this in my own December Birchbox.  It’s formulated with Hawaiian volcanic ash to keep your scalp clean and balanced. My husband wasn’t thrilled to get this (he’s not a dry shampoo user), so it’s all mine ;). I have been using it to smooth flyaways and as a texturizer.  Some of the sprays make my hair too soft, but I don’t find that to be the case with this one.

~Hanz de Fuko Sponge Wax (~$4): This is a “high hold” wax.  It has the feel of a pomade with the staying power of a gel.  I tested it on my 8 year-old who has very short hair and was pleased with how well it worked.  A little bit goes a long way too!

All totaled I came up with a value of $51.89 for the January 2017 Birchbox Man.  This box was amazing!  The Bombas were for sure the best part, but nothing in here was a disappointment!
