Fortune Cookie Soap Subscription Box Review - Spring 2017

Fortune Cookie Soap is one of (the most?) creative boxes out there and opening it up and seeing what they do is always fun.  This box looked amazing from the start.

The Spring 2017 Fortune Cookie Soap theme was “Be Our Guest” and included the following items:

~Magic Mirror OCD Hand Sanitizer: Magic Mirror is a full of “succulent peach, fresh watermelon, and honeyed neroli.”  It’s super fruity and leaves a tiny bit of sparkle on your hands.

~Bonjour Whipped Cream: Bonjour is described as “sparkling tea leaves, with a zest of fresh lemon.”  I like it as a hand cream, but it might be a little overwhelming to have this scent all over your body.

~Enchanted Rose Fortune Cookie Soap: I think the fortune cookie soap is my favorite part of the box each season.  Enchanted Rose is scented with delicate rose petals and soft violets against a woody, vanilla background.  It’s not too floral, and I love it!  These are perfect for a guest bath.

~Beauty Lip Tint: This lip tint is a mix of sweet tangerine and creamy vanilla with a slight berry tint. It’s probably my favorite smelling item in the box, and it really is a “Beauty” when it’s on.

~There’s Something Sweet Perfume Oil: There’s Something Sweet is a blend of delicate rice flower blossoms dripping with spring rain. It’s too floral as a perfume for me personally, but I would love this as a room diffuser.

~Lumiere Candle: Lumiere consists of fresh blackberries, tart apples and magnolia petals sprinkled with sugar crystals.  I picked up a ton of apple scent, a little bit of blueberry and not much of a floral at all.

~Tame The Beast Detangler: Tame the Beast is a mix of black cherries, rich patchouli, and warm sandalwood. I am not sold on the scent, but it did a great job of detangling my hair.

~Happy Ever After Toner Tablet: The Happily Ever After Toner Tablet is kind “to even the most troubled skin types.”  It has bergamot essential oil, sweet mandarins, and tangy grapefruit scents. To use, you fill a bowl or sink with very hot water and then drop in the toner tablet.  Drape a towel over your head and bowl/silk and just let it do it’s magic!  Very relaxing!

Oh man!! I’m SOOO excited for this! The Winter box was my first and it was based on my favorite book series growing up. Now this one is one of my favorite childhood movies?! FCS is nailing it.

I love this subscription box! I can’t wait until I get mine. I got a sample of the lotion and I think the scent would be great as a hair product or deodorant

I got my first box with this quarter. I was surprised how small the samples are (but the whole box does fit in the mailbox – so I don’t know why I expected larger) But they are samples and I’m excited to try them all. Never used a “toner tablet” before and it was great relief for my head cold. I haven’t decided yet what to get of their “spring release” which will debut tomorrow, but I am planning to cash in my $10 gift receipt (shipping charge will be approximately $5).
