Wantable offers five different types of subscription boxes. This box is their makeup box, which includes 4 to 5 full-sized premium makeup products, hand-picked to perfectly match your preferences. They also offer intimates, fitness, style and accessories boxes, again customized to your preferences.  And unlike the majority of other subscription boxes, Wantable allows you to return the box if you aren’t totally 100% happy. They also allow you to return a just portion of your box if you want!  Wantable lists “Your Price” on the information card along with the “Retail Price” so you can easily determine the amount of credit you will receive if you opt to return certain items.  If you end up keeping your entire box, a credit of $4 will be posted to your account – making your next box $36.

Wantable ships via USPS and took just a few days to arrive.  Wantable (typically) ships at the same time each month based on when you originally subscribed.  So if you subscribed at the end of the month, your box would always ship at the end of the month.

As I mentioned before (and like I do every month), you can totally customize your Wantable box. You fill out a questionnaire telling them what you Love, Like and Dislike. You’ll get more of the things you Love, some of the things you Like and none of the things you Dislike. It also asks about color preferences and that sort of thing. Eyeliner is my only dislike, and that seems to be working out well. Wantable has also launched the “My Stream” which includes product and customer photos of items from Wantable boxes. You can scroll through the images, and if you see something you love, you can request it in your next box.

My January 2017 Wantable Makeup Box contained the following items:

~EMMA Pore Refiner (Retail Price: $30, Your Price: $10.53): EMMA Pore Refiner works to reduce the appearance of pores.  I loved this.  It’s a cream but felt almost like a powder once it went on.  It worked too.  My skin was silky smooth, and I was happy with the coverage.

~doucce Press Powder Foundation in Sweet Wood (Retail Price: $32, Your Price: $11.23): Another love!  This color is perfect for me, and I am in urgent need of a new pressed powder.   This is a total win.

~doucce Mineral Matt Lip Stick (Retail Price: $20, Your Price: $7.02): I didn’t swatch it because I am going to return it.  I have lip color as a love, but they don’t allow you to specify between glosses and lipsticks.  I love glosses, but lipsticks aren’t for me and matte lipsticks are alway a miss for me.

~FACE Stockholm Water-Resistant Volumizing Mascara (Retail Price: $32, Your Price: $11.23): New year, new mascara!  I tossed a bunch of mascara over break, so this is much needed as well.  It’s very volumizing, and I love the skinny brush.

All totaled my January 2017 Wantable Makeup had a value of $114.  That’s a solid value and the assortment in here was great.  I am going to return one item, and I love that Wantable allows you to do this, so you aren’t stuck with someone you don’t love.

Do you subscribe to Wantable?  If so, what’d you get in your box (makeup, accessories, intimates, fitness or the new style edit) this month? And if you don’t subscribe, what are you waiting for? There is no risk involved so why not?

Spread the love

Wait, if you keep it, you get a $4 credit on your next box- making that lipstick only $3! You could just experiment with it by lightly dabbing it on, then putting a lip balm/gloss over it. Those new irredescent/whitish ones look great over too dark lipstick for me (like the best color I’ve ever worn)!

I was actually thinking about that after I wrote this……

I do this with all matte Lipsticks that I like the color of. I have some great lip glosses included clear ones that I have received in different subscription boxes. I have to like the color for me though. I like more nudes, pinks, peaches, and metallic darker pinks… this one would be a tinge too red for me… but I also keep things over the year and make my own surprise make up boxes as Christmas presents! over the year it ends up being a really good value and I actually spend less on make up and gifts.
