The June 2017 Orange Glad box included the following items:
~Unna Bakery Raspberry Cave Cookie and Farmer’s Cookie: The Raspberry Cave Cookie is a shortbread cookie with a handmade jam center. The Farmer’s Cookie is described as crispy and nutty with browned butter and almonds. I liked the flakey shortbread but wasn’t feeling the jam. The Farmer’s Cookies were better than expected! They almost had a burnt taste, but I loved them.
~Shotwell Craft Beer & Pretzel Caramels: I meant to take pictures of the actual caramels, but they were gone too fast! These are a buttery soft caramel with Ghost River Brewing’s Golden Ale and crushed pretzels. They are just as amazing as you think!!
~Carolina Girl Cooks Delectable Orange Cardamom & Rose Tea Cookies: My cookie tastes are a little less sophisticated than these cookies. LOL! These are tea cookies and the Rose is made from edible dried rose petals. The Orange Cardamom is more my style and has a buttery base and a citrusy flavor.
This wasn’t my favorite Orange Glad (it just didn’t seem like it had a ton of variety), but there is always next month!
