I am not 100% finished with my office makeover yet, but I need some help figuring out what to put on the walls, so figured I would go ahead and post now.
I posted my first office makeover here and, wow, we have come along way since then. Gone are the orange accents and chair (I forget I even had that chair), the carpet and the oversized chair, but the main desk pieces remain the same.
The carpet was swapped for wood flooring years ago and I added a the Camellia Jade Rug from Ruggable. I know some people don’t love Ruggables because they are so thin, but it’s perfect for me because my chair rolls around nicely on it. I also added an Ottoman from Target to replace my old fur footstool that I was constantly knocking over.
I FINALLY painted a room in my house something other than beige. I am not even kidding – everything in this house is beige. I opted for Sherwin Williams Willow Tree SW7741 and love how it turned out. In some lights it looks mint green, in others it’s more of a blue-green. So pretty! I talked about my Anthro Dupe mirror here, but if you missed it, I bought it at Hobby Lobby (in-store only). Also, I have never described a trash can as sleek before, but there is no other word to describe this one!
And finally, the back wall. I don’t want to do another gallery wall with mismatched frames, but I also don’t know exactly what I want. I love the looks of these from Ballard Designs, but $459/each? OUCH! Any suggestions???? I know I want simple with gold frames, but am stuck on where else to look. Help!!
