It’s no secret that I have received a lot of subscription boxes over the years. And that means I have tried out a ton of products. I did a post on my favorites a few years back, but I figured I would mix it up and share products that we’ve received in subscription boxes that we still use on a daily (or close to it) basis. Either items that we have replaced because we used them up or ones that are still around and in use! Here we go:
~The Wet Brush Hair Detangling Brush (October 2013 POPSUGAR Must Have – First Box Received In): This made my original favorites list and here it is again because I use it every.day. I received a pink one in that 2013 POPSUGAR box all those years ago, but I am currently (still) using the smaller yellow one from the March 2015 POPSUGAR Must Have Box pictured below. It’s possible that this is the best $5 box item ever.
~Unplug Meditation Multicolor Diffuser (Spring 2019 FabFitFun): Would I have paid $55 for this if I just randomly saw it at the store? Nope. That’s probably why I never had one like this before really. But I love it. I received it last month and have used it basically every day since. It makes my office smell fantastic and I love watching it change colors.
~Raw Sugar Lemon Sugar Body Wash (April 2017 Target Naturals Beauty Box): Another item from my original list! This is now my go-to body wash. It smells SO GOOD and it’s inexpensive (like $7 for 25oz). I may have eventually discovered this at Target without receiving it in a box, but I found it sooner because I did get it a box!
~Bodum Bistro Double Wall Express Mugs (set of 2 – 10oz. size) (December 2012 POPSUGAR Must Have Box): We are down to one mug (we broke the other one a few years back), but B (my husband) uses it every weekend to drink his coffee. It is his go-to mug and keeps his coffee nice and hot.
~Lipstick Queen Medieval Tinted Lipstick Treatment (Birchbox Sweet Treats Limited Edition): Best lipstick ever! I usually just swatch my subscription box lipsticks and pass them along to my SIL or a friend, but this is like a glossy / balm / lipstick combo. It’s a berry tinted, but not in an intense way. Basically it’s perfect.
~FURminator Deshedding Tool (February 2014 PetBox): I actually forgot this even came in a subscription box! My dogs have short hair and don’t shed (that I can see anyway), but this still collects hair. Love it!
~Nature’s Bounty Hair Skin and Nails Vitamin (Spring 2017 FabFitFun): I took hair, skin & nails vitamins before these came along in a box, but every since I got them in this box, they are my favorites (I get them at Costco now). They taste yummy and I have noticed a big difference in my nails especially with these.
~Canvas Dauville Platinum Bowl (December 2014 POPSUGAR): This post is making me realize just how much I muss POPSUGAR’s monthly boxes. This little dish has been on my desk for years and it’s basically a catch-all for hair-ties, loose change and stamps (random I know). Cute and handy!
~Ballyshane Studio Wood Board (April 2018 Sealed With Irish Love): This came in a subscription box last year and it has been on my counter since. I use it under large 3-wick candles (think old school Partylite ones). It looks great and wax drippings are super easy to clean off of it.
~Meal Box Recipes (Plated, Hello Fresh, Blue Apron, etc.): While not a single specific item, we have saved all the recipe cards from the meal delivery subscription boxes we’ve received over the years and use them to recreate the meals. For example, we had Chicken Souvlaki (using ButcherBox chicken – LOL) with Spinach-Feta Rice from a Plated receipe.
