I started a blog soon after my son was born last year so that friends and family could watch him grow up. But I found that I sometimes strayed from my posts about him to other things I was interested in. Mainly crafting and interior design ideas. In an effort to separate the two, I started a new blog and here it is!
I have never considered myself to be “crafty”, but I am not afraid to try new projects / ideas. I am no Martha Stewart that is for sure, but I aspire to become more creative with every new project I try. I will only post projects / ideas that I would actually do myself or that I have done. There is nothing worse than trying to make something by reading only written directions. I like pictures, so I will post step by step pictures of things I do.
As for my design style, I am obsessed with Pottery Barn and West Elm. I don’t care much for their prices, however, so I try to do a mixture of expensive and inexpensive pieces in my house. I use coupons / discounts whenever I can and will search nab a good deal when I see it.
I would love to hear from you about ideas for crafts and other design projects. Feel free to comment or e-mail me anytime.
I just wanted to say Congrats on your new blog, I know I will love it as you had alot of great ideas on Lucas's blog (which I love, but I need to start leaving comments, and also on Dani's too>)
Just wondering where you find the time for all you do, whew, you tire me out – LOL
Congrats again and I wish you many many readers!
Debi
Love the layout and the new blog!! Can't wait to see all of the ideas you come up with.
Loving the new blog! You inspire me girl! 🙂
I agree with Debi….where do you find the time? I suspect you may never sleep! hehehe
I found your blog soon after I gave birth. I was looking for subscription box ideas for a few birthday presents. I had seen (and pinned) your list before, but this time I read your blog. One day I decided to read the old posts. Now I’m hooked! Reading the posts about lurkers made me decide to write a note when I reached the end-your first post.
I feel a little stalkerish, but thanks for providing me with entertaining material to read while feeding my baby and during her naps!
LOL! Don’t feel stalkerish!!! I totally do the same thing with blogs. I read so far back and feel like I totally know the person, leave comments in my head for them and then never actually write any out!! I am glad you did though!
I’ve been reading your reviews on subscription boxes for awhile now, but finally decided it was time to start at the beginning! I love your blog, it has helped me pass so many slow, boring afternoons at work!
Welcome!!! I happy I kept you entertained!
