Day 2 in Vegas started early (by Vegas standards anyways). I believe that we were eating breakfast by 7am?? Doesn’t it look so so calm on the strip? I took a picture like this every morning and they all look the same. Walking down the strip in the morning in Vegas is the best. It makes you feel like you have the city all to yourself.
Do I look like I just came from yoga class?? LOL. I love my lululemon in stride jacket! Speaking of lululemon, has anyone been following this story? How crazy is all this???
Bryan had some work to do, so he headed back to the room and left me to gamble in the casino. Did I say gamble? I should say I donated to the casino. I am so hooked on the Sex in the City slot machine. It is so fun and I love the bonus rounds.
After losing all my money, I headed back to the room to find Bryan just wrapping up his conference call. Doesn’t he look cute working at that desk??
We spent the rest of the morning hanging out at the pool. The weather was so amazing when we were there. The normal highs for this time of year are in the 70’s, but it was in the 80’s and 90’s while we were there. I can’t even tell you the last time I just layed around the pool and had frozen drinks brought to me. Maybe for my 30th in Cabo?? But I can tell you that it felt great. We had a late lunch at the restaurant by the pool and then headed back to the room to get ready to do a little more exploring. Bryan checked out the spa too!
We walked down to Treasure Island (which is being remodeled) and did a little more gambling and then headed over to Fashion Show Mall. I’m not sure I had ever been there before, but I had heard it was fabulous. And it did not disappoint. We hit up lululemon so I could get a new hoodie and more groove pants and even talked Bryan into getting some men’s pants and a shirt. He is now HOOKED too! I also hit up puma and got some new kicks so I could go to the gym with Bryan when we got back to the hotel. If you ever need a reason to get new shoes on vacation, just “forget” yours at home. We walked through the Palazzo (which is gorgeous) and had dinner at Otto at the Venetian. I think it was the yummiest pizza I have ever had! We walked all the way back to the Cosmopolitan and stopped on the way to check out the new Sugar Factory. Such a cute place! I didn’t realize it was also a restaurant. Has anyone ever eaten there?
Once back at the hotel, I made good on my promise and headed to the gym with Bryan. I felt pretty stylish in my new gear and enjoyed watching the Bellagio fountains from the treadmill.
After the gym, we just relaxed in our room and watched the scene on the street, and, of course, the fountains. I seriously could watch those all day. I wonder how many different “shows” they have?? Part 3 (which is also the end of the trip) review, is coming soon! Stay tuned!
