1) Springtime. I totally have Spring fever. So far, we have had only a taste of Spring. There are still more cold and rainy days than there are warm sunny ones, but hopefully that will all change soon. I cannot wait to plant brightly colored flowers, play outside without a coat on and sleep with the windows open. Living in a place with 4 seasons makes me appreciate Spring even more. I do totally love having all 4 season here, it’s just that winter and the grey skies last way too long. My husband and son brought me home white tulips the other day (it was L’s idea, what a sweet sweet boy!) and they make me feel like Spring is right around the corner!
2) Mini Chips Ahoy Cookies. Not the regular sized ones. And not the tiny ones in the little plastic cups. It’s got to be the Mini ones in the Snak-Saks or the Big Bags. No clue where my love for these came from, but they are delicious little treats that’s for sure. Next time you are filling up your gas tank for $4.30/gallon head on into the gas station and pick up a bag of these to ease the pain. Gas stations always have these. Always!
3) Tiffany Celebration Rings. What can I say other than who doesn’t need more diamonds in their life? I don’t really wear necklaces or bracelets or rings other than my wedding / e-ring. And wear the same earrings everyday, so jewelry isn’t something that I usually lust after. But these, I love these. I don’t care if the rings are Tiffany or not, but I love the idea stacking a few of these of different cuts / styles / sizes instead of wearing an engagement ring. I looked at an amazing emerald cut one on-line the other day and fell in love. Too bad it was like $11K. And I would want 2-3 rings to complete the look. Umm, totally not happening here anytime soon. But a girl can dream!
4) The Voice. When I saw the previews I thought this show was going to be totally stupid. I am so not into American Idol (I have actually never watched more than 5 minutes of it – ever) and I was expecting something similar. It’s a good thing I was totally wrong! This show rules and I love to see who is going to hit their buttons. I can’t wait to see what the next step in the contest is either. Whatever it is, I am on Team Adam.
5) Zinio. Zinio is a magazine app for your iPad (maybe your iPhone too?). I currently “subscribe” to US Weekly and Marie Claire. I think the prices are pretty similar to a tradition mail delivery subscription, but by reading it on the iPad, I am totally helping the environment by not wasting paper and then throwing it away. Don’t think I forgot about my Earth Day goals. I mean, I would have recycled the magazine or passed it along to someone else to read, but still. This is way better and way cooler. Oh, and Zinio has lots of cool magazines you can read for FREE!
6) Celine Boogie Bag. I have lusted after this bad for year and years and years. Yet for some reason I never pulled the trigger. Maybe because it was over $1K and, back then, I used to think it was crazy to spend that much on a bag. However, now that I own a more than fabulous Jimmy Choo bag, I know it’s worth the splurge. Too bad I didn’t come to my senses before Celine discontinued making the bag. I was pretty much crushed when I heard this. But I learned my lesson. If you want something, buy it now, because if you wait too long, it could be history! From now on, nothing will slip by me!
What are your current obsessions??? Do you think it’s crazy that I don’t watch American Idol?? Oh and if you have a Celine Boogie bag in order that you want to donate, I know a great arm that could use it ;).
