I started yesterday off with my Cardio Fusion class (that class is something else). I came home and played outside with L and we had a picnic lunch. It was so so beautiful out!
And then we (and the rest of our area it seemed) finally bought and planted our flowers! We love the nursery we get our flowers at because in addition to beautiful flowers, they always have great stuff around the holiday events for kids. And usually have someone cooking up gourmet food samples, which is always fun. I like to stick with one color of flowers for the house and this year we went with pink. And we went a little crazy and bought two hibiscus trees for something different.
The real fun of flower shopping is trying to fit everything you buy into your car. We play this game every year and once again, after a long battle, we won.
We spent the rest of the afternoon playing and planting! I’ll take another picture after the flowers start really blooming and filling out!
And, after a long and busy day, L and Buddy got some snuggle time in, and you get a sneak peak at my bedroom makeover!
How was your Saturday? What did you do??
Race for the Cure and it was waaaaaaaaaaaay to crowded. I mean awful. Jon and I said next year we’ll donate to the cause and go for a nice walk around kensington park. There was literally stop walkers EVERYWHERE. I finally began hitting them with my stroller. Oh, and about that stroller…never once was Maddy in it, Jon had to carry her the whole time. Awful!
LOL!!! Bryan would be so proud you were hitting people with the stroller. He used to do that all the time!!
That pic of Buddy and Lucas is TOO cute!
Loving the heart pretzel. And that is a LOT of flowers!!
We went to track regionals in Central Lake. Hailey’s relay team won second place and qualified to run in the Stae track meet. A pretty neat honor but the competition there will be stiff. Oh and I got sun burnt even though I wore Nutrigena (spelling??) sun block 70 for faces. What the heck!
