Coupon Organizing

Disclosure: If you make a purchase through the links posted below, I may receive a small compensation. Read the full disclosure.

A few of you have asked about my new coupon organizing system which I mentioned here. I cleaned out a file cabinet drawer in my desk and am using the folders to hold all my coupon inserts. I have a few for Red Plum, a few for Smart Source, etc. and organize them by date. Then I have some for my free coupons (like the ones you see on Freebie Friday), store specific coupons (aka Target, Kroger, Bed, Bath & Beyond, etc.).  Basically all my coupons are right at my fingertips next to a computer I can hunt for deals on, as well as, print internet coupons.

I’m still working on my labeling system (which would take me all of two seconds if I just sat down and did it), so you’ll have to settle for this picture.  I think you get the idea.

I am all about being efficient with my organizing and want to be able to find things fast. If I need to reference the 5/15 SS, I want to be able to find it quickly. So I am going to start labeling the front of all my inserts with the date in black marker. The dates are printed on them, but they are so small and take forever to find and that wastes time.  I want to spend the least amount of time possible while saving the most amount of money possible!

So tell me, how do you organize your coupons? I would love to hear!  And do you watch that Extreme Couponing show?? I’m sorry, but there are some crazies on there!

Spread the love
